I have been straggling to mask a text box. I searched for the Mask property I could not find it. I have also tried to use textbox.mask it tells me that mask is not a member. I'm trying to enter currency in The text box ($1000.000) I'm using Visual Studio 2010

I am using a webservice site XML that contains the conversions.
The problem is I cannot get the display to work properly.

View 1 RepliesI m using a reportviewer in vs2008 with vb. I have a database field(datatype decimal) on my reportviewer. I added a textbox from toolbox into the reportviewer. Now i want to show currency text into textbox equivalent to that database field value. In short i want to convert 155.75 into "one hunded fifty five dollars and seventy five cents". Here 155.75 is decimal value from database field and one hunded fifty five dollars and seventy five cents" the converted textbox value. I have a private function in my module for conversion. but i m not getting idea how to implement that function on reportviewer or how to call that function to convert as i want.

I have to create a form that I enter the price of gas each month over a year. I enter the price in a text box and click the enter button to send the price to a list box immediatley and use an array. I have the following code but I don't think it's working with the array correctly as it will let me enter the information but doesn't stop letting me enter after the 12 prices. This is the format of the text box for currencies:
"XXXXXXXX.XX"
the dot "." must be fixed in the textbox and it should be loaded with the textbox. Furthermroe i have plans to code eachtime a user enters a number it should print the numbers from Right ot left.
eg: When user enters Number 1234.34
When the user enter these number they should display them as:
when user enters 1
0000.01
when the user enters 2:
0000.12
when the user enter 3:0001.23
When the user enters 4:
0012.34
When the user enters 3:0123.43
When the user enters 4:(after entering all digits in the number)1234.34
Could any one give a couple of ideas how to creat these kind of boxes?
I was thinking about creating a custom control (a Textbox) but still i need to have a the above format in the textbox!
Does anyone know of a good rich text editor control? I am looking for something that can take either, plain text, rtf and html. I want to be able to edit the text. It would AWSOME if it can convert rtf to html and html to rtf. I have tried the C1 and that was bad. It does not read rtf and does not convert anything. And it was really slow.

In Visual Studio 10, which I am using, the is an "Events" selection in theproperties area. Under this there is an "Enter" which allows you to pick something to invoke. So I choose the button that I wish to invoke. However, when this is selected this way, I run the debug and after i type something and hit enter in the text box, nothing happens and I hear a default sound. View 6 RepliesAt the moment I have created an AutoTyper but can not get it to function in the way I want it to. I want it to have the option of choosing whether or not the enter button is pressed after the text is sent. Currently by changing True to False I can make it either send the text or send the text and hit enter. However I can not make it so it has the ability to do both.

ok I've read tons and coded tons and I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong.. I have to assume its because there are 900 ways to do sendmessage with the windows API and I'm just not doing the correct one..
I made an an app that runs up and shows me its window handles.. my other app can find the one textbox and return the handle.. now I just have no clue how to send the message correct to make my string pop up. Do I need just the handle ? or do I need to get the handle of the text property using the getdlgitem ??

I'm using the combo box control in VB.It is not bound to a data source.Visual Studio gave me a text box to enter the values for the combo box.When I run the program, there is a blank value?How do I eliminate this blank (or null) combo value? My combo box is a required field.

In the screenshot, you'll see three things- a start time, end time and total time. So the goal is this A user puts in a current start time by hitting F1 at the start of shift. They tab across the end time to the "time field", then go across the row.
