Export Datatable To Excel Sheet?

im creating an application that query data from fox pro, manipulate it and export it to excel.here is the code im using to creat excel object:
Dim oExcel As New Excel.Application
Dim obook As Excel.Workbook = oExcel.Workbooks.Add
im getting excell.application underlined(error msg:new cannot be used on an interface)it get fixed when i remove New, but now im getting oExcel in second line wiggly underlined(er msg;variable oExcel is used before its been assigned a value)

The CrystalReportViewer allows me to export my report to an Excel file, but it always saves the report as sheet "Sheet 1" in a new file. Is there a way to get the CrystalReportViewer to save the report to an existing Excel file and specify what to name the sheet in saves the report to?

A year ago I saw a beautiful simple code that gets a data table and saves it in an excel file. The trick was to use the web library (something with http) and I'm almost sure it was a stream. I find a lot of code with response but I can't make it work in a win-form environment. There is also a cell by cell code - not interested -too slow. I want to paste it as a range or something close.

I have managed to read a sheet from a excel workbook and pop it into a datatable.
Public Function GetSheet(ByVal SheetName As String) As DataTable

My understanding is that if I make changes in the datagridview it is reflected in the datatable.
So now I want to write the updated datatable back to the appropriate worksheet.
I have read about "insert into" or "update" etc but it is very specific columns and rows.
One other thing, when I set the datagridview datasource as the datatable I get about 9 other columns such as TABLE_SCHEMA TABLE_TYPE etc. Any pointers wher thay are coming from and maybe how to get rid ofthem?

I have a database ms access 2003 and using vb 2008 created an application.Now, I have the database name as CompanyINFO. and in that i have a table as primary.all i wanted to do is to have a button to export.when the user clicks it. the whole table should be exported as a excel file and should be saved on the desktop as CompanyINFO_Primary_mmdd.I tried various type but was not even close to what is required.

I'm using the 2008 express edition. Now, I created an application that will allow the user to choose transaction in the combobox.text and input its price and quantity using an textbox.text. In this file some cells are merged. After copying to the new sheet the formatting of the sheet does not remain same. Columns sizes are changing. Why this problems occurs? I have to provide an Excel file as an output. I have to color some of lines and make them bold.The input is based on a dynamic list (in memory) and it also could be based on CSV file that I'm already provide today (based on the same dynamic list).I'm wondering what would be the most efficient way (in terms of performance) in order to provide the colored Excel output?Should I export directly from dynamic list into Excel - or - Should I export from CSV into Excel ?

So I've got this Excel sheet of employees which have all the information about them. I'm trying to import this info into AD, but in order to do that I need to get the username for these users as well. And I would like vba code or vb.net code that basically takes the value of every row in column D and looks for it in AD and returns the username and adds it to column A. I am exporting data from vb.net to excel and it is dropping the leading zero when its displayed on excel. How can I avoid the dropping of leading zero? I read the solution of adding a single quote but it makes my excel sheet column ugly. Also users will complain if they see a single quote on zip code field.vb.net code

I have an asp:table which I want to exported to excel. One of my fields are alpha numeric and when exported to excel the leading 0s are stripped off. After going through this thread: Validation (CSS 2.0): 'mso-number-format' is not a known CSS property name I would like to use the css method "mso-number-format:@;.But the css is not exported to excel. I just tried to test it with simpler css things like bold font etc but its not getting carried over. I can see that if I surround my asp:Label with tags this change gets carried over to the excel but not the css bold . Other solutions in other thread does not work for me as ="00111" shows up as desired in excel but in the web form it shows up as ="00111" which is not what i want.
