Below is the code I use to play a video. Video is played on a panel but when Start a video it only shows a part of the video how can I fit the video inside the panel? Also how can I get the default size(height and width) of the video so that I can maintain aspect ratio. [code]
Public Class recordingtTry Private Declare Function mciSendString Lib "winmm.dll" Alias "mciSendStringA" (ByVal lpstyCommand As String, ByVal lpstrReturnString As String, ByVal uReturnLength As Integer, ByVal hwndCallback As Integer) As Integer
I have a created a small application that records and plays audio. However, my application needs to save the wave file to the application data directory on the users computer. The mciSendString takes a C style string as a parameter and has to be in 8.3 format. However, my problem is I can't get it to save. And what is strange is sometime it does and sometimes it doesn't. However, most of the time it failes. However, if I save directly to the C drive it works first time everything. I have used 3 different methods that I have coded below. The error number that I get when it fails is 286."The file was not saved. Make sure your system has sufficient disk space or has an intact network connection".[code]
I have a vb.net project which i have inserted pictures and video. I inserted a video clip using the Windows Media Player control and it does work. The issue i have is that i can't move the program to another computer because the pathname for the video will be wrong. I know i could change the pathname when i move it but this is not practical because i need to present this program. Does anybody know how to make the video accessible no matter what location the program is at?
I am monitoring 12 video feeds from video cameras. Now I have more than 12 cameras, I have 134. But I will only monitor 12 cameras at a time. By Monitoring I mean, I have 12 small video screens on the form that I can see the video. The way I know which cameras are active, so I can monitor them is by a boolean value in a sql database. I run a Store Procedure in my program, and spit out the results in a XML file. I then read the XML file in a loop. This XML file will have a list of the camera names I need to monitor.
So that is for 12 video feeds. Now, I want to have a NEXT or FORWARD button on my monitor form. So when I click this it will give me the next group of cameras, 13 to 24. Now if I only have15 cameras that are active, that means the first group is 1 to 12, then the second group is 13 to 15 cameras. So I will only have 3 to monitor on the second grouping. One thought I had was to have another field in my table to mark as already as an active monitor, so when I run the SP, i will not select that row. But I need to select 12 at a time. Or I can make a number of xml files, one xml file for each grouping of 12, but I need to figure out how I can select the next group without re-selecting the first group. I have no code at the moment, I'm on my non-programming computer.
I creat audio video chat and when calling receivng video and client video is together...I want that client move his or her webcam video where want...as I know it name DROP&DRAP but I`m not know how to do it...
I was wondering if it was possible to have a program open Firefox, and have it open a bunch of tabs that all go to a link with a video, and then have it automatically play that video?
I created so many listviews in my project, that im too lazy to add to each listview a resize event with percentages. Is there any other trick, who just scales the columns so as they are?
I'm starting work updating an UI for one of my company's applications and I'm running into a sticky issue. The parent control contains several panels, each of which can be turned on or off depending on user input.
The final panel in the user control contains another user control which gets resizes according to a toggle switch. Essentially, it "opens" up more information.
While the child control (ChildControl) is docked to Fill inside the parent control (ParentControl), when I add height to ChildControl I can't get ParentControl's height to get updated as well. Currently I'm handling the ChildControl.Layout event in ParentControl but I can't seem to reach that code. To resize ChildControl, I'm calling Me.Height += 200 in ChildControl.vb.
I have a question about of capture sound function, someone have a code example for visual basic 2010 in windows 7?, I tried using mcisendstring function but the sound quality, is poor.
I have a bunch of PDFs that I'm just trying to open, resize the page, and then save. I'm also hoping that the file sizes will shrink significantly doing so. I am using iTextSharp and the resizing works just fine, but the file size is nearly identical, ever so slightly larger in fact. Here's the function I have now:
I have a form.. that opens like a dialog box. On this form is a tablelayoutpanel, i have my picturebox in row 0 spaning 3 columns. What I would like to be able to do.. as the user resizes the form, make row 0 in the lay grow. I am thinking that will cause my picture box to grow a bit too and the user can get a better look at the image.
I have an issue where a ComboBox control will change it's Text value when it is resized. Here is some sample code that I worked up:
Option Explicit On Option Strict On Public Class FMain Private Sub FMain_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load uxComboBox.DropDownStyle = ComboBoxStyle.DropDown
I would like for a user to upload an image to a file in my web application. However, before being saved I want to resize the image to a specified size. I have found code on the Internet to do what I want but I am having trouble adapting to meet my needs. Here is the part I am having trouble with:
' Resize Image Before Uploading to DataBase Dim imageToBeResized As System.Drawing.Image = System.Drawing.Image.FromStream(FileUpload1.PostedFile.InputStream)
[Code]....
Rather than upload to a database I want to save the image to a folder in my web application. The problem I have encountered is that VB won't let me save a byte() to a folder. Not sure what I can safely change to adapt for my purposes. Why does it need to be changed to a byte() in the first place?
i need the code in vb.net for auto-resize of forms. for example i execute my project in a 14" monitor, the size of the form would be the same as the size of my monitor. now what i want to happen is if i execute my project on my other PC that has different resolution, the form would have the same size of it.
When i create a band new WPF project without changing any code whatsoever does this on resize. It stays this way if i minimize or drag across monitors. Is this supposed to happen? It does this with all of my WPF applications so i set ResizeMode="CanMinimize" .
