Hyperlink In Asp.net That Takes The Value To The Next Page?

im using asp.net with vb.net in backcode. On my first page, i diplay names of all employees. I want to give that a hyperlink, that when clicked upon shall open the next page with say a querystring and opn only that employees records. Also I want the save the employeeid (which is not shown on page 1) on the second page, cause when i do updates on second page, I want to use that employeeId in "where" clause for update or insert statements.
I have seen several threads about automating several aspects of html elements (buttons, textboxes, checkboxes, radio buttons etc...) but I didn't see any specific codes to auto-click "Hyperlinks". How would I invoke a click on any hyperlink located on any given webpage if I needed to?
I'm trying to use hyperlink fields in my gridview to pass certain values into another page using querystrings. On the next page I've put 'labels' that should be populated with data from the gridview, however nothing happens. This is my gridview code:
I need to open a new instance of IE and direct it to a web page when a user takes a specific action.Used are random so setting anything on their machine is not an option.This works great on my local machine in developent but when deployed to my server it fails with no error.I must be missing a permission or something simple understanding that on the server things are run under the ASPNET account.My code is in a code class, myCode.We are in VS 2008 and IIS 6.Tried a couple of different things, they all fail silently.

I am trying to hide Hyperlink visibility in Repeater if there isn't any Text value in Hyperlink. Something like this:

since I now have the records returned as URL format, how can I display those as hyperlinks in my gridview? (this is how the client wants it done, not much I can say to change their mind)

I have a master page which contains everything that inherits it within a form. A page inheriting from it needs to run some javascript to act on a text field on a page. However, I can't seem to reference that text field through the javascript, since the form begins on the master page. The following line will come up bogus: document.form1.txtFindUser.value = blah.responseText; This is because form1 is defined on the master page, while txtFindUser is on the current page.

Does anyone know why a Page_Load would be called twice on a page when requesting an aspx page?I am using .Net 2.0 with the new .net 1.1 compilation model installed. Whenever I request a page, the Page_Load on the aspx page appears to be called twice, so does the Page_Load on and user controls added to that page.
The thing is i have a Master page and a Content Page. I have a LoadComplete in Content Page and a PreRender in Master Page. The problem is one of my htmlcontrols on content page i change on the LoadComplete event server side of the content page. I also have some code for disabling controls on the Master Page PreRender event. For some reason all controls on the aspx side go through the Master Page prerender except the ones that i change on the LoadComplete side. How can i make sure the entire content page loads and then the Master Page PreRender event is called, making all the controls go through that event.
Trying to get the ID out of the hyperlink. Apparently the Facebook ID length has changed so my previous method no longer works. I'd like to future-proof it with a Regex to get the id regardless of length:

I'm trying to get it to show up as a hyper link an email, but instead it displays the full html as above. I've tried HTMLDecode, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

the e-mail fires off fine but the end result is this message "You have a new task in Dataworks,Click Here to see your BROWSER task list" with no actual link. Could somebody point out my syntax error?

I'm creating a web brwoser as a school project and I seem to have hit a bump in the road. I am having a problem with getting code to open a link in new tab. I have have searched for aa couple months but come up with nothing. Can someone please help me out by posting the code to open a hyperlink in a new tab or at least the code to get the url from the hyperlink. It would me much appreciated if the code wasnt pages long for effiency reasons.
