Am using asp.net for above 5 years. But now am facing a weird problem. When i try to send emails from form created by me which contains asp:button, asp:textbox, etc., in code page it always telling IsPostBack false. Even when i click the Send mail button(asp.net button). I cant understand what is problem.
Is it anything needed in web.config file for postback??[URL]... Am sure its not problem in Test page.Because it is very normal page which have only one button & code in vb. Problem somewhere in cache, urlrewrite or web.config. But i cant understand where?

When i exclude that dlls and remove the httpmodule line from web.config file postback working fine. So this is error. They done something wrong in their Dll files or httpmodule.
But still can't understand what is error. Is it have chance to control postback action from dll files?

Data retrieve successfully in the combo box. But first look on combobox is look empty until i click the side button of combo box. I want that combobox show first line of data without click the side button.

View 3 RepliesI've got a Program and a text file, this text file gets load into the list box but that's not the problem. The problem is that when I make the text file it makes a open line and this line gets loaded into the list box and I don't want empty items.

View 10 Repliesi have 3 listboxes and a calculate button and a lblGrandTotalCost, the program works like this when i select an item from listbox 1 and listbox 2 then click "calculate" it shows a result in listbox 3, after repeating this rocess few times if u click the lblGrandtotalCost button it calculates the grand total of all the totals that are in listbox 3, Now i want the program to show an error message if some one click the lblcalculateGrandTotal button when listbox 3 has nothing in it or empty. how do i do that?

I am reading a txt file and displaying the contents into a listbox but it generates an empty listbox item at the bottom of the listbox. I am splitting the textfile each time it finds a new line in the txt file;
.Split(vbNewLine)
The problem there is always a blank line in the txt file at the end and so generates a blank list item. How can I remove this blank list item from the listbox? Is it best to try to remove the blank line from the txt file first or the empty list item from the listbox after the file has been read?

So we have for arguments sake FrmConfig which is the master configuration form, then we have FrmMain which is the root menu our application general user interfaces with. So here based on what options are checked as enabled in FrmConfig effects what controls (like buttons/menu options) are enabled in FrmMain.

I have a quesion about using the timer1 function. I am a complete virgin when it comes to programming, so please be kind. I have a project that is using an NCD relay controller to control linear actuators. I want one relay to turn on and then stay on for 10 seconds and then turn off. I set the timer1 properties to enable with an interval time of 10000. I am programming a button to turn on the relay then wait 10 seconds then turn the relay off. All that happens is the relay comes on then off immediatley. I have tryed to do this several different ways with the same results. It is though the timer1 is not getting recognized. So my main question is, what steps am I missing, and how do I get a delay of 10 seconds before the program recognizes the turnoffrelay command?
