I know how to create and populate a datatable, which i have already done. Now, I simply want to display the datatable on a webform, but I also want to know how to paginate and sort it. Ultimately I do not want to bind this to a datagrid or gridview. I would like to learn how to programmatically do this myself.

When I attempt to go to page 2 or any other subsequent page of the data grid, it does nothing but refresh the page.

I am reading that XML data and putting that data in DataView and giving that DataView as DataSource to DataGrid.As i have a schema for my XML, i dont even give HeaderName as system automatically takes HeaderText as whatever is in XML Tags. Now my problem is Pagination alignment, i have pagination on my DataGrid but even setting

doesn't bring pagination to extreme right of datagrid, rather it brings pagination on right of first column of datagrid(my datagrid has 9 columns) see attached pic

The C# interface I'm working from defines properties and events (IsPostBack, Load) that are already implemented by the base control.However, VB.NET is forcing me to explicitly implement these properties/events in the user control (Public Property IsPostBack() As Boolean Implements IView.IsPostBack...). I'd like to just define these in the interface and not have to do anything special in the code-behind of the implementing user control.I'm assuming that I can do this in VB.NET, I just don't know how. I've spent all sorts of time googling/bing-ing, and haven't come up with the answer.

I am trying to use a label from another row in the gridview and insert it in a table when the user clicks the button which is in its own column.

So basically what I am trying to do is, take the id value of the row that is clicked and place it in a label outside of the gridview, however, when I do this the label come up with no text. I think my problem is that x is not being set to the exact row that is being clicked.

In C# when I programmatically need to get a specific control from a GridView, I insert in my RowDataBound event handler:

How can I get the same result in VB? I tried:

How do i edit the column header of the GridView control on a web form? I have added a Table to DataSource as:

in here "gvSearchBrandList" GridView control But the GridView control display the column headers of the Table in the database. But how do i edit those column name in the GridView?
