When I attempt to go to page 2 or any other subsequent page of the data grid, it does nothing but refresh the page.

I am trying to get some data in DataGrid from XML files. I am reading that XML data and putting that data in DataView and giving that DataView as DataSource to DataGrid.As i have a schema for my XML, i dont even give HeaderName as system automatically takes HeaderText as whatever is in XML Tags. I know how to create and populate a datatable, which i have already done. Now, I simply want to display the datatable on a webform, but I also want to know how to paginate and sort it. Ultimately I do not want to bind this to a datagrid or gridview. I would like to learn how to programmatically do this myself.

I started a forms solution in VB 2008, created a datasource to an access database (2010) and used the datagrid view to display the data. 3 fields in the access database are lookup fields with 2-8 values each, typed in by me, since the linking to other fields did not work. This is not working either. When I change the column to combo-box or not, those values, typed into access, are NOT showing up in the datagrid. the combo box has its drop down arrow but the value fields are empty.

I have on my form two datagridviews that correspond to the same table. They are both databound. They have been created automatically through dragging them from the datasources windows.One is datagridview and the other datagridview1. When ever I navigate through a datagrid the corresponding row on the other grid changes as well. I do not want this. Also I want to be able to fill and use each datagrid indepentent from each other. It appears that my favorite thing in the world is tackling projects that are beyond my current knowledge and abilities. I have a little project that I am working on which is a simple image viewer stocked with (upon completion) your standard Load..., Next/Previous, Zoom In/Out, Actual Size, and Full Screen capabilities. However, I am running into a few snags:
(1) I've been able to get my "Load..." button to display a file dialog box, but I cannot seem to get a working filter (with which only image file types are allowed to be selected) in working order.
(2) I have a PictureBox object (entitled PictureBox1) that displays the image selected via the file dialog box, but it loads images in their full size (1:1/100% zoomed) state without scrollbars, etc. to allow me to navigate the loaded image. I would like to have it load the image, initially, to fit within the dimensions of PictureBox1 and from there be able to zoom in/out via my "Zoom In/Out" and "Actual Size" buttons and be able to scroll if the zoom level is beyond the dimensions of PictureBox1.
(3) It dawned on me that I haven't the faintest idea how to get my "Next/Previous" buttons to allow the user (me) to navigate, in succession, the images contained in the folder in which the currently loaded image is stored. [code]

I have a search form on that will be pulling search template queries from a table in the underlying (an Access db on a share). The search form has a calendar control for filtering by date range, a listbox containing the names of the search templates, a second listbox which lists the fields in the selected template, and then some controls which show/hide themselves depending on which field is selected so that the user can pick a field and enter it's unique criteria in the appropriate control for filtering. Below these controls is a DataGrid, which will obviously display the results.
The problem is how to dynamically "transform" this DataGrid to display the selected search template. These templates do not represent tables in the underlying; rather they represent preconstructed SQL queries (stored in a table) which are essentially SELECT queries with joins and no WHERE clause (so they are the results of multiple tables joined together by their keys).
To be honest, I'm having trouble even generating the LINQ queries to represent these template dynamically, but that's not as important, since I can manually translate the SQL queries into LINQ. This is definitely not the preferred method, as the whole point of putting these templates in a table, rather than code, was to allow for future additions without rebuilding/redistributing the application interface.
what are the differences between the WPF Datagrid included in the .NET Framework 4.0 versus the Datagrid included in the out-of-band WPF Toolkit? I understand that the toolkit version was released first, and targets the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

So I got code like this which takes the right item but puts it into the wrong place. It is suppose to put it into Rows(0).Cells.Item(3) but it puts it into item(2) as it caunts from 0 to 3. If i try to put it into Rows(0).Cells.Item(4) I get an error - indexOutofRange.

I'm using loop to read data from sql and then make some calculations then save it again to another table but when application loop for 3 or 4 times it's freeze but the job is done but if loop = 10 or more then it is freeze and hangup for long time .i need to learn how to make my application working better and never freeze and make application working with any count for loop without freeze .
