I am looking for how to implement a toolbar similar to the one used here when you add a new question, this toolbar should format the text entered in my text box and allow me to make it Bold, Italic, choose size and fond and highlights, colors as well...One important thing, I want one that is both supported on firefox and IE, discountasp.net offers one which is only supported by IE.

The text is black. then, i have a button which calls the dialogue "Notes" A dialogue appears, with a rich text box. the user should then be able to enter text into the box, click "OK", and the text entered into the Notes dialogue be inserted to the rich text box on the main form -- with the font colour "Red". The rest of the text in the main rich text box on the main form should remain black.

to a readable format. I understand that this can be easily accomplished by writing in the ascii code into the code will do it but I am trying to create a more interactive method of doing it so I can copy and paste a long length of code into a textbox and have it update a label with the conversion.
I am a bit new to crystal reports even though I've been doing a bit of heavy lifting with it.I have this crystal report that has a datetime field.This field has a default datetime of 1753-01-01 00:00. Now I want this field to display only date like "01-03-2011" and also anywhere it sees the default date, it should display an empty string like To achieve this I used this formular (in the display string)

This successfully changes the default date to empty string. But now I can no longer change the format to dates only.

View 4 RepliesI am trying to make my program print out a requistion slip but I don't want to make a report using VB b/c sometimes the printer is not connected and it is better to have a Microsoft Word document and save it as such. So how do I create a Word application from VB? I basically am going to set out a format, make a small table etc. and then whatever the user types in the textbox, it will appear in the slip. View 1 RepliesI've been asked to create a string slicing programme that will take data from a spreadsheet and output it to a delimited ASCII file. The data in the text file follows the structure as shown below:

The text file has about 7-8 rows off data following the same structure but with a few changes. So I want to remove the semi-colons from each row of data and format the text file so it has the correct columns on the first row and then the data below but with the long, lat removed etc. However I can't just remove all the semi colons as time uses them.[code]...

I'm populating a ToolTip with a string of text that has vBCrLf at the end to return a new line.
textfortooltip += dr(0) & dr(1) & vbCrLf
This produces multiple lines in my ToolTip based on a SQL query eg:

RandomUser COMPUTER2
Is it possible to format the string so the spacing is a bit more presentable like:
Administrator COMPUTER1

RandomUser COMPUTER2
Through tabs or another method of populating the ToolTip?
