i am trying to make a "Key recorder" i got everything but one thing, i got it to record, when it's TOPMOST, i set Topmost to true, but it only works when it's focused, if it doesn't have focus, it wont record, but if it does have focus?

I have seen many videos and things on how to make one, but all of these just take multiple pictures and then don't compile them into a movie file, and I don't want to take many pictures (unless that is the only way possible.) I am using Visual Basic 2010 Express and I have looked at the Windows Media Encoder, but I can't seem to figure out how to use/implement it (yes, I have downloaded and installed it.) Maybe I can use some kind of ActiveX control?

I need to create a windows app which will track if the user while visiting the website, is running any screen recorder. If he is, I need to log him out. I have knowledge on c#, vb.net. View 3 Repliesmaking a screen recorder. make it take a screenshot 15-30 times a second, and for each shot there will be a text file that will say the location of the cursor when the shot was taken and what the cursor was, like loading or whatever. Then when the user presses save, it will take all the shots, import the cursor in each one and then create an AVI using each of the frames that were initially shot. Another better way would be to take a screenshot with the cursor in it, if thats possible.

Basically I use SetPixel on a given window to draw a line, work fine, but the line goes away as the window redraws itself.The problem: I have been putting timers and threads on it to make sure the line is being drawn.
