Making A Screen Recorder And Save It To AVI?

making a screen recorder. make it take a screenshot 15-30 times a second, and for each shot there will be a text file that will say the location of the cursor when the shot was taken and what the cursor was, like loading or whatever. Then when the user presses save, it will take all the shots, import the cursor in each one and then create an AVI using each of the frames that were initially shot. Another better way would be to take a screenshot with the cursor in it, if thats possible.

I wanted to make a screen recorder (not screen capture) program, but I am not entirely sure how to get it started. I have seen many videos and things on how to make one, but all of these just take multiple pictures and then don't compile them into a movie file, and I don't want to take many pictures (unless that is the only way possible.) I am using Visual Basic 2010 Express and I have looked at the Windows Media Encoder, but I can't seem to figure out how to use/implement it (yes, I have downloaded and installed it.) Maybe I can use some kind of ActiveX control?

I am working on a web project where content security is client's first priority. I'm trying to make a screen recorder using Visual Basic 2008 Express, and everything seems to be smoothlike... until I actually try to record with it. I was looking up how to make a screen recorder when I ran into a source code that uses Windows Media Encoder SDK. I tried it out and it crashes saying that Data Execution Protection stopped the program. So, I debugged the program and found that when it creates a new instance that this is the cause of the crash. I'm trying to bullied a simple cheap software to rise money.Any way, I managed to make a serial login form but the problem is I need it to appear only once pear purchase, meaning as soon as you enter it once, it will be saved and the login form wont popup when the program gets started again on the same PC. I am trying to make it so when a user logs in the code can tell, if they are a user or not, if they are a user, then if they are a teacher or not. I have SQL in there to identify if the person is a user or not, but it won't bring up an error message if they aren't. And if both the users logging in are not teachers they are still able to view a screen they are not meant to.

I am making a calculator-like program, and would like to make it so that it is always the front-most form, even when another program (like Firefox) is clicked. While Firefox is the active form, my form is still up. Basically, I'd like to make the form like the on-screen keyboard; it never really minimizes unless you specifically tell it to.

I need to create a login page as part of an assignment. Problem is, I don't have access and I'm not sure which other programs can be used as alternatives. I am hoping that it's possible to create the login screen using only a If...Then...Else Statement. I have a combo box on few of my vb.net 2010 programs. The end users that use my program have touch screens and they have a hard time making selections on the combo box. I have an Android cell phone and when ever there is a combo box it will open another screen and making the selection is a breeze.

I am new to VB and having an issue with Print Screen. I'm trying to take a screen shot, show it in a picBox and then save the image to a file. Eventually, I want to add a timer and have the webcam open on screen so that I can take a set of pictures and save them to the hard drive (a very simple "security" cam).What's happening is when I click on my "Start" button the screen shot always seems capture the last screen event (ie: if I move the dialog from left to right and click "Start" the dialog is still showing on left side of screen shot). Not sure what's going on with this. I tried variations to update (picBox.Refresh(), .Update(), and .Show()) without any change. It's as if two clicks are required to make a capture.Also, I'm trying to save the image that's been captured and can't seem to get that working.
