im trying to make a rectangle powerpack shape but i dont know how to get a parent. this is what i have got so far:

I'm using e.graphics in the Me.Paint event to draw a string in the form. There is a rectangle shape with gradient in the form, and the string is supposed to be drawn on top of the rectangle shape. However, when I run the program, the string is drawn under the rectangle shape, and is therefore invisible... How do I fix this?

Then I have updated my Shape extension method to include a optional third parameter. The 3d parameter is indent percentage or indentPercent. The default is zero so there is no indent. If you indent by say 50% you will get a star shape.
The various ways you can call this extension method are;

I am looking for help with the DataRepeater in VB.Net PowerPack 3. This is Windows development were talking about not ASP.Net. I am able to set it up for a single dataset but I actually want to nest another DataRepeater inside of it. Anyone have experience with that? Is is possible? I've done it with ASP.Net but I realize were talking two different animals here.In my testing the top level repeater seems to populate fields but the nested repeater shows up empty. Nothing in it. I'M creating a kind of photo viewer, and I cannot figure out how to orient the scroll buttons with the photos I want to draw because they all are different sizes.This is really hard to explain so please ask questions if you don't understand.I'M thinking if i could draw every photo on a single rectangle and then the scroll bars will position that rectangle up or down. but is there a way to make a rectangle inside another one so it only shows inside that rectangle?
