1.The average of the four numbers. This answer will be placed into a text box reserved for that value. This text box cannot be changed by the user.
2.The maximum and minimum values. These will be denoted by changing the color of the largest number green and the smallest number red.
3.The range of the numbers. The range is defined as the difference between the largest and smallest numbers. The range will be placed into its own text box, labeled as such. This text box cannot be changed by the user."

Apr 19, 2012I've had a look around, once again and can't find how to set the minimum and maximum dates allowed to be selected on a calendar in ASP.net with VB.
I'm using Visual Studio 2010 and it's just a regular Calendar control at the moment...
At the moment I've seen things like:
Calendar1.DateMin = DateTime.Now
But Visual Basic doesn't seem to like that (maybe it's a C# thing?).

Each time I try to change the value I get an error - for example if I change the listbox from 2011 to 2010 I get the error:

Oct 5, 2011What I need to do is find a string that can be any value, and is placed between ">" and "</" with a minimun length of 5 and a maximum length of 7 and contains exactly 2 dots.
So if I have a text file like this:

I want it to find only the 5.0.77. And no, the number isn't always between h2 tags, and the number isn't even always the same. The only thing that is static about it is that is is between ">" and "</" and that it is between 5 and 7 characters and contains 2 dots.

This gives an error during the build (despite the variable being declared as a BigInteger and the operation working perfectly well when I am not assigning it to a variable, it tells me I can't convert a Double to a BigInteger) and I have to do this:

This if course gives a different, that is, incorrect result.'This doesn't work either.

I am trying to limit this list to rows which have unique Dates and unique quantities in LINQ. I want to remove items with the HIGHER priority leaving rows with unique dates and qty's.
I have tried several group by's using Max and order by's but have not been able to get a result.
Is there any way to do this via linq?

May 4, 2012I'm using Visual Studio and table adapters using an Access DB as the backend. I need the minimum 4 digit value. I want to get next available 4 or 5 digit number. And this will change depending upon the users request. Currently I use a table adabpter query. But how would I write a query. I suppose I could do a long iterative loop through all values until I see a 4 digit.But I'm trying to think of something more efficient.

When one look at the references of the EXE project, one can see that the System.dll (and System.Core.dll and so for) references to the v4 version (the latest); however, in the DLL project the references points to the .Net Framework v2 version. Why is this happening? How can I make all my projects to point to the v4 libraries?

VS 2005 - Create A "post Office" Program That Will Send Html Emails Thru The System.net.mail Framework
Oct 19, 2009I am a one man dev shop and need some outside opinions on how to approach this project.
I need to create a "post office" program that will send html emails thru the system.net.mail framework.
For each job submitted to the postoffice the app would need to read a user created html email string from the database, read a string of email addresses to send to and send out the emails based on a set processing time.
The first step would be to parse out the email addresses to find out how many emails it needs to send out and determine how many it would need to send per minute to complete the job in 20 minutes tops. I.e. if 1000 email addresses are submitted per job it would determine that it needs to send 50 emails per minute to complete the job.
The part I am stuck on is how I should queue the emails. If the app determines it needs to send 50 a minute should I only load up the first 50 on a timer event then get the next 50 queued up for the next timer tick? Or would it be better to load up all 1000 in a loop and build in some kind of wait time after it sends the first 50?
