Dim car As Graphics
x = 50
y = 100
'Dim myBrush As SolidBrush = New SolidBrush(myColor)
[code]....
I would like to move the rectangle to the right by 1 pixel each time the timer1_tick is started. At the same time, I would like to clear out the previous boxes after making a new one. This is to make the box looks as if it is moving to the right.
okay i have a simple form like this How can i Move my mouse to the Red part in the Middle of the form i know it's something to do with Pixels but i don't know how to do that if anyone could answer my question i would be so happy so please if you know Please
I want to Draw an Rectangle on a PictureBox and after that I must be able to move this Rectangle around. I have made now that I can draw a Rectangle on a Picturebox via MouseDown and MouseMove Events, but I dont know how to Move the Rectangle.
Private Sub PictureBox1_MouseDown(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.Forms.MouseEventArgs) Handles PictureBox1.MouseDown Try If e.Button = MouseButtons.Left Then cropX = e.X cropY = e.Y [Code] .....
I have put a fair few hours into this now and have had no luck, i found this piece of code on the net that seems to offer exactly what i need.[code]...
I am trying to move a Rectangle Shape using the arrow keys and i have done multiple codes and none of them work. Can anyone help me with the coding.[code]also I am not sure if the code goes in Form1_KeyDown or RectangleShape1_KeyDown
How can I move the mouse to a pixel location of a program?[code]I know it doesn't work, but I'm trying to make it easier to understand what I'm trying to do.
I currently have a working program that creates one colored pixel in a Bitmap, displays the bitmap in a pictureBox, and "jiggles" the pixel by making it move in a random direction by 1 pixel every time a button is clicked. I want to make the pixel move automatically until a Stop button is pressed.
I am trying to do an if then statement on form2 that references timer1 on form1, something like...if form1.timer1_tick then the problem is that I have never worked with a second form before and I am not quite sure on how to achieve this?
Apologies as this has probably been answered a million different times a million different ways already. I'm trying to control the mouse. I wish to move the mouse to a given pixel position (x, y) and cause a click. I don't want this to be limited within a form, as I want to control another application. I'm using VB 2005.
I would like to load a GIF file, and start with the first pixel and check to see if that pixel color is closer to Black, Red, Green or Yellow, then take what ever color it closest matched to and output that color as a number, 0, 1, 2 or 3. So just for a small example a 5x4 GIF would be converted to something like this: 0112223322220111332?
How do i determine the pixel width and pixel height of the largest image i can paint onto the graphics object of a printer while inside a printpage event?
during the development of my project, i've fall in the need to change the position of some forms, pixel by pixel using a timer.Now, i've checked that the movement is very fluid when form is not very heavy, when it contains few elements, but when it has a lot of elements inside, the movement becames nervous and not fluid, the movement becomes jerky.
Given a rectangle of width w and height h. and a coordinate x,y in that rectangle I would like to identify which triangle I am within.
i.e. the function should take parameters(x,y) and return a,b,c,d or a zero based number representing that triangle index i.e. (0=A,1=B,2=C,3=D) if they are in that order.
I think this would be something like >= the formula of the red line and >= the formula of the green line?
Aside from one small ASP.NET webpage (using VB.NET as the language), I've been programming with Visual Basic 6.0 exclusively for the majority of my programming career (5 yrs or so).
With free versions of Visual Studio out there (Express), I've decided it's time to up my game. I also read this thread recently, which kind of killed me a little inside.
Anyway, I have two needs moving forward. I have to write a couple of small programs that load text files to a database (easy enough), so I'm going to write my next program in VB.NET. The other project is migrating a fairly substantial scheduling program that I wrote over as well. It's about 4 years old and in need of a major update so I figured a rewrite in .NET is the best way to go.
The question is, if I want to make my scheduling program web-based, am I better to use ASP.NET or the Visual Studio.NET. I noticed that it looks like you can create web apps using VS?
i'm trying to make it so that when a timer reaches a certain number, that PictureBox3 has a new location. But I don't know how to make it so that at a certain "time" makes picturebox3 move.[code]
How can I find out the pixel colour of a certain point on a web browser. For instance,WebBrowser1.getPixelColor(0,0) would get the rgb colour value of pixel 0, 0.It doesn't have to be rgb it might be hsl or whatever.The web browser is showing a local web page that is hosted on a network. If there is an error then the screen goes all grey. What I want to do is, if this does happen, display an alert message like - "An error has occurred
I have an empty picture box with the background colour set to the transparancy colour. How can i get the colour of the pixels within the transparant picture box so that i can create a bitmap of the transparant section of the form?
Ok i got a problem when ever i move a panel and a picturebox at the same time. Ok well them bolth move but the panel has a image in it and when ever i move it with the picturebox it creates a balck square behind the picturebox and the panel and how can i see it, well it on the top like picturebox.location(20,20) well balck quare.location(0,0) same size as picturebox how do i fix this cause it messes up the image. Here is my code:
Spent most of the day yesterday trying to figure this out but no luck so far. I would have thought that there would be an easy way to do this, but after spending hours Google'ing the subject, I could not find a single working example to accomplish this.[code]...
I'M creating a kind of photo viewer, and I cannot figure out how to orient the scroll buttons with the photos I want to draw because they all are different sizes.This is really hard to explain so please ask questions if you don't understand.I'M thinking if i could draw every photo on a single rectangle and then the scroll bars will position that rectangle up or down. but is there a way to make a rectangle inside another one so it only shows inside that rectangle?
