My Class - App - Add To The Total That I Have With New Values

I am having a issue with my app, I know it is going to be something easy that I am doing wrong, but I just can find what it is. I am to take a quantity of an item and then * by the price of the item to get the total. This works fine when I get the first values, but if I want to add to the total that I have with new values, well, thats were I am having issues.

I have 20 radiobuttonlists on a page. Each has 4 options with values 1, 2, 3 and 4.What I need to do is on submitting the form, get the total value of all the radiobuttonlists (eg 3+1+2+3+4...) divided by the total number that have actually been filled in (none of them are required fields so anything from 0 to 20 of them could have been filled in) - hence getting an average value.

How can I get the sum all the values a user enters into TextBox1 to display that sum into TextBox2.The user is going to enter one value one by one. The user enters '1' into TextBox1, therefore, TextBox2 should display '1'.If the user than enters '2' into TextBox1, TextBox2 should display '3'.If the user enters '2' into TextBox1, TextBox2 should display '5'.And so on.TextBox2 should only display one value at a time, not one after another.I am using double because I need decimal places.I have a ListBox1 where it displays all the values entered by the user in rows one by one, but I prefer not to use the ListBox1 to get the sum of all the values entered in TextBox1 and to have TextBox2 show that sum. Because in that ListBox1, I have few other things in there, like Strings, which will not allow the sum of all the values entered in TextBox1 to be calculated and displayed in TextBox2.Not sure if this matters or not, but I thought it might.So only need TextBox2 to have all the values entered in TextBox1.If 1 was entered in TextBox1, TextBox2 shows 1.Then 2 is entered in TextBox1, TextBox2 will show 3.

I'm making an application in school where I have to display the values of domestic, international, and total sales of company "Conway Enterprises." Everything seems to be working except it is not displaying the totalCompany sales as a currency. I'm sure it's probably an easy fix but I've been searching the internet and re-reading my book for awhile with no results. The pay rates for the project are:
a. Level 1 - $10.00
b. Level 2 - $12.00
c. Level 3 - $14.00
d. Level 4 - $16.00
e. Benefit Deduction Rate - 0.10
f. Overtime Factor - 1.5
For ease of program maintenance, all of the above rates and factors must be stored in module level constants. All references to pay rates in the program must refer to the module level constants.
When the Calculate button is clicked:
a. The value in the Hours text box must be validated to insure that it is numeric value greater than zero.
1. If the value is not valid, a message box must appear as shown below and the user must be offered the option to continue processing or quit the program.
2. If the user chooses to continue processing, the focus must be set to the Hours text box.
3. If the user chooses to quit, the program must close immediately.
b. If the value is valid, the program must calculate and display the total pay in the Total Pay label.
1. The pay rate is determined by which Job Grade radio button is checked.
2. For hours less than or equal to 40, the total pay is the hours times the pay rate.
3. For hours greater than 40, the total pay is 40 hours times the pay rate plus the hours in excess of 40 hours times the pay rate times the Overtime Factor.
4. If the Full Time radio button is selected, the total pay must be reduced by the Benefit Deduction Rate.
5. The value displayed in the Total Pay label must be formatted with a dollar sign and with two decimal
places.
6. The focus must be set to the Hours text box.

I am working with VB 2008. I want to be able to run this program say in N: and it will show me in an excel sheet the following:
Folder Path Size(GB) Count of Files
N:Clients 0.53 308
where clients contains subfolders and files and the size is the total of all those files within each folder and the count is the total within each folder also.
This works fine as it is but i have to select one by one the top level folders and some of them are huge so it takes forever to give me an answer.
1) I would like to see in my spreadsheet the following by only select the network drive n:
Folder Path Size(GB) Count of Files
N:Clients 0.53 308
N:Software 10.7 15430
N:Billing 0.98 105
2) I would also like to know if this is the faster method.
3) I tried adding a progress bar so that the user can have an idea of how much this will take but i had to remove because it was not working.
4) I would like to see the folder name, size of folder and count of files in the listview.

I'm new to forums as well as new to VB 2008. I'm in process of making a order calculator which will total any values you selected in combo boxes/checkboxes and then display it in a selected area. There are 3 things that I want to achieve: 1. Be able to add another total to an existing total (currently I'm able to see only one total when I hit "Calculate" button)2. Display how many orders I have made so far (new total counts as one order)3. Be able to add up checkboxes selected to an overall total. I'm making this game where there is an enemy that goes to the center of the form and grabs an object and brings it back to the side. I made a new class called enemy that makes the enemy. in the class there is a sub called start which the enemy goes to the center and brings the object back. when the enemy comes back with the object i want the integer lives to subtract 1 from it. so i put the

I have a base class where amongst other code I have declared 2 properties. In my derived class, I get data from the DB and assign the results to the base class properties. This is so when I go back to the base class code, I can access the property values. It allows me to set the values in the derived class but once I go back to the Base class, the values don't exist.

I am not seeing what I am doing wrong. To see what was being done, I changed the constructor values to "TEST", after the XML gets read in (I verified what the XML is), the class values are still stuck to "TEST". Any more Ideas? I am using a class to track if a user cleared their personal information found within some text boxes on a form. In the button click event to clear the text boxes I am creating a new object to the class and assigning true to one property value. Sounds simple until I try and submit the form with a different button, and create a another object reference that I use in an IF statement to check the property value for true. Every time the statement fails because the value being returned from the getter in my class is false.

I am trying to work with classes and variables and don't seem to understand some behavior that is going on.
first off the class

Usage and behavior (example code)

Dim S2 as new csSession
S1.ID = 1
S1.Name = "1st Session"
S2 = S1
S2.ID = 99
When I assign S2 = S1 all the values of S1 passes to S2 but also there is a "link" or bond between the two variables now. If I change the values of S2 this automatically changes the values of S1!! Why does this happen and how can I prevent it? I just want to pass the variables values contained S1 to S2.
