Feb 24, 2009I have not worked with VB in so long that I might as well be a newb.I know this can be done, and if I remember correctly, it is fairly simple, but for the life of me, I can't remember how.I have a textbox that will be used for entering a number.I have a combobox with a list of precreated options.I need to create the combobox as many times as the number entered in the textbox. Essentially I'm creating a list of items, the number of which is determined by the textbox value, the values of which will be chosen from the comboboxes. This means that the comboboxes all need to be linked as a group with sequential numbering.

Select Case - Removing Spaces At End Of Number
May 25, 2009I have a question about Select Case. My code (psuedocode) is this

name=Remove(num, 1, " ") ]
What this needs to do is to remove spaces at the end of a number and lets say that the number would look like this "C12345" but what I want is for the number to look like this "12345". I have it as a hyperlike but for some reason when at the link in the code it had added some spaces at the end of the number and I do not know why. What I want to have happen is when the hyperlink is click that it will go right to that number but it does not. When you click it you have to go to the top of the page (where the http is at) to to the end of the link and back space. Once you have done that it will go to the page that you want.

Application That Allows User To Select Or Enter Into A Combo Box Number Of Days A Person Will Work
Oct 28, 2009Create an application that allows the user to select or enter into a combo box the number of days a person will work, and calculates the total amount of pay she will receive over that period of time. Salary is one penny the first day, two pennies the second day, four pennies the third say, and continuing to double each day.
The combo box must list the following items: 30, 180, 365, and 1000. Must be the default drop down box. Use a validating event procedure on the combo box.
The program should go through a loop once for each day, doubling the number of pennies with each iteration of the loop. You will need a running totl of the number of pennies that you add to with each iteration. To calculate the total amount of pay, multiply the total number of pennies by .01 and show the result in currency format.

That wouldn't work because it would repeat.If I donwload someone's game can I disect it in VS? :0 I tried going to open project, then I went to the folder and clicked open. It brought me inside of the folder so I tried to open the game but there is no form1 there. Jan 8, 2010I'm working on a project and my boss insists I use a DataGrid for this. The grid holds information for work orders, one of the cols has a check box in it. I need the user to be able to select any number of those checkboxes/rows and then return a value to the table "stamping" that users ID. This is what I have so far to get the grids populated... I'm using 2005 with a 2000 Access Database if that helps. Though this will be changed to SQL Server once we get it working (yay more work)...

I removed the code from the second grid to make it easier to read, obviously once I can get one to work the second shouldn't be as much trouble.
