Sql - Show Previous Day Values In Query?

I have a table which fields are Date, No, Turnover, TotalWin, Opencredit, Handpay, Billin, gamesplayed and I am trying to write sql in vb.net that will show me previous day value but I cant. Here is what I am trying to do.

Ok Thomas I am not able to give correct answer to your question because first time in my Life I am trying to write sql. I was doing this with MSAccess and it was easy. Now I am getting pretty simple error I think with this code but I can't find solution again. What is wrong.

The idea with this form is to add the futures which is calculated when the button is pushed but I need the list to update every time and show the values each time to which the previous value is added to the new calculation, e.g. of what it should look like in listbox:
Year 1: $1,290.93
Year 2: $2,724.32
Year 3: $4,350.76
etc....
I have been working on this a while and I am at a standstill, I was given a function to clear the form everytime it calculates but I don't know how to implement it, I am new to VB. Here is what I have so far:

I have a routine that has an if else statement at the else part it calls another routine. Within that routine it has a msgbox script. At the part that is actually is suppose to show the msgbox it goes back to the previous subroutine at the else statement and runs again but this time it displays. I have never seen this before.

I have a problem with a generic list, which consists of intances of a class i created. I am just amazed, each time I add a new object to the list, it overwrites the previous entries. Here is a code sample, i just can't beleive it. I am using visual studio 2010:

I am looking for an elegant datatype and method to handle this problem below in Java or dot Net environment (C# or VB.net)It is a (r x c) matrix of numbers (integers). The 1st column values is a 1D array (range of numbers). The 2nd column takes a different range of values for each of the 1st column value (so, its basically a 2D jagged-array). The 3rd column has a range of value for each pair of 1st and 2nd column values.(when the 1st and 2nd column is fixed with a value, the 3rd column takes a range of values). I'm looking for a library for Autocomplete support in text controls which remembers all previous entries of the user and provide auto-complete support for it.For example for "recent files" I use [URL] and it works great. Do you know something like that for this purpose?

I have a search page with a couple of pulldowns. Dependig on the values of them I show a grid matching the searched criteria, basically a table with links the user can navigate to. My problem comes when the user wants to navigate back. At the moment I have a "Back" button which simply redirects the user to the initial search page. I think it would be a good improvement to have the values of the pulldowns filled in with the values the user selected, this way when he presses the "Back" button he would not have to restart the whole search process again.

I am using a databound datagridview control. I created a custom query to fill the grid with which includes joins and using alias names in the sql query for the joined fields. Here is the query I am using:
SELECT Events.[Date], Events.[Time], Contacts.LastName AS Lastname, Contacts.FirstName AS Firstname
FROM (Events INNER JOIN
Contacts ON Events.ContactID = Contacts.ContactID)
The datagrid views fine using the columns that are in the events table. I want to be able to view the aliased columns from the contacts table in the datagridview as well.
How can I display the joined columns in the datagridview? Maybe there is a better way to do this? Maybe this is not enough information for a resolution.

i populate a datatable from a join query.i have one table called GameSheetTx which has 5 bit columns for days monday to friday.now when I want to create a new GameSheet I cant join to GameSheetTx as there will be no records for the Parent GameSheet. I uses datagridview for show query results from database which may have 0 to x number of rows. So I made calculation to calculate size of underlaying form and my datagridview dependable on number of matched rows. Underlying form is transparent and all of that looks like user control what appears and works just fine. But here is one issue: Every time datagrid have to grow, black square in that area is showed before datagrid is filled, what is not nice and surely unwanted. Did datagridview have some mechanism to freeze it and show data when populating is finished?

url...How do I reference a query in a DataTableAdapter so that I can put the values gathered into a Textbox? Right now I have an array that is unparsed. One of its elements goes something like this:
"Blah, 555-5555"
So it's a name and a telephone number separated by a comma. The instructions I have tell me to use a query to put the information in the array into a data grid view in two columns, one for the name and one for the telephone number. I don't know how to isolate each inside a query.

I am trying to use Linq to Xml to query attribute values that will be used to populate a combo box. My xml looks like this:

I want to check some values in a sql db without populating controls. I can select the row i want, but for some reason my mind then hits a blank, maybe its because its monday.I want to check a few bit fields in the row and if 1 - do something, if 0 do something else. In this case depending on which bit fields are set to what, id like to enable/disable various controls on my form.
