Unable To Link The Inventory Table To A Datagridview Object

I successfully connected a remote MySQL database and it is listed in the Data Connections. My database has two tables, inventory and history, both work and I can retrieve the data from each.The problem is when I try to link the inventory table to a datagridview object. As soon as I enter the configuration wizard a red x appears in my data connections. Regardless of this, however, I can still successfully add my history table. The problem is that the inventory table name isn't visible and I get this error:<``>Could not retrieve schema information for table or view ``.The inventory table is what I need and I don't understand why it blanks out.

As I have no idea on how to retrieve access data at the specific location in the table, so I wrote VBA code t export the entire access database to a datagridview which is located in the form1. There's a column of datagridview contain complete address information of a image. I'm thinking a way to link image source (of form 2 or xaml file) to the the column so that the image will be displayed. is there any code to get cell value at the specific location in the table? In excel VBA, sheets("Sheetname").Cells(rownumber, columnnumber).value is used to get the cell value, but how about code for this case?

i would like to ask how do I subtract a value from my column Quantity(data type is integer = 18) in my inventory table if a customer will want to have 2 orders and of course 18 - 2 will be 16. how will i do this?

Columns 0 & 1 are filled from a DataAdapter from Access Database and three are added. I had this working, but I changed it to check for the column "Feed" so I could add several Locations. At first this worked,but I did someething in perfecting it and it now fails after filling the first row of the datagridview (dgvFdMed).I ran a check and the table LotsTab has 8 rows filled. Column 1 & 2 are strings and the database appears they are fine. The added columns have just been created with no value. My plan is to enter the values and then use the data from the grid.

i want to update my inventory table in database from another database name. Example: In VB, i had a form named Orderform. User need to select e product that they want and key in the quantity. all these information are able to store inside my database named ORDERTAB. but now the problem is i wanted to update another field in my database named INVENTORY by minus the quantity tat the user had key previously. i totally had no idea how it going to works.

The latter is giving the error "Unable to cast object of type 'Object' to 'CTest'." when used:
Dim thestack As CTest() = testdatabase.getStack
Where testdatabase.getStack simply returns stack();
Public Function getStack() As Object()
Return stack
End Function
This fixes it, but it's not ideal (for me personally):
Dim thestack As Object() = testdatabase.getStack
So if I could keep the variable as-is (Public stack() As Object) and then do something along the lines of class.stack() = CTest I should be able to do Dim thestack As CTest() = testdatabase.getStack because the object array will programmatically have changed from Object to CTest.

Unable to cast object of type 'DynamicTreeNode' to type 'DynamicTreeNode'.
I have an inherited TreeView with an inherited class called DynamicTreeNode inside it. I am trying to loop through the DynamicTreeNodes in the TreeView.Nodes property which is causing this error.

I even have it set up so I can filter through the DataGridView by sorting though a specific company in the database. However, now I want to link specific cells from the DataGridView to other VB features such as a text box and check box. I am a bit lost as to the coding. In the DataGridView, there are numerous columns that contain a check box and I need them to correlate to actual check boxes I have in the form. I can do it through binding the check box on the form to the data source and it works but if I run a filter or sort through the company, the check boxes from the DataGridView no longer carry over to the actual check box on the page.
