This is really annoying. I am implementing Google Maps in Windows Forms application via the WebBrowser control. The map and the directions are too large for the Window and I have the ScrollBarsEnabled = True but, the scroll bars never show up. The only way to get to the content that is 'off-screen' is by clicking and dragging the mouse downward. I have looked for other properties but, none seem to be appropriate.
I would be glad to provide code snippit if needed.
I'm using Visual Studio 2005 Team System For Software Developers. When I try to add a new DataSet to any kind of project, I cannot get to the visual DataSet designer. I created a Label control inheriting from Label WebControl in CustomLabel.vb in my project where I want to use it. And I would like to use the code below in source-view as such:
1. How to make content in a label scroll horizontally from the right to the left? And I want it to loop nonstop so that it can keep scrolling once and once again nonstop.
2. For example, my label is multi-lined and has line A and B. What about if I want:
Line A scroll from the bottom to the top -> Line A pauses for 10 seconds(for users to read it)-> after that line A dissapears itself -> line B scrolls up -> Line B pauses for 10 seconds(for users to read it)-> after that line B dissapears itself-> (back to the first step)

I have 2 little problems that have been annoying me now for the past few days1. I have a tree click event, i click on a node and it executes lines of code. The problemis when i click the 2nd node nothing happens. The 1st node works great.2. In my treeview the last node is cut off by half. i am unable to scroll to the last one fully (pic attached )
hi there, i have a problem with my picture box which has the facility to zoom and pan with scroll bars, when i zoom in on the image then move the scroll bar down and leave it there and then click my 100% zoom button, the image is only just showing at the bottom of the screen and it is movable so you have to drag it into position when you shouldnt need to because it was fixed.
i have a MDI Parent. As you know a MDI parent can have scroll bars. I want to make customized scroll bars. Meaning instead of windows default scroll bars i want just to images / buttons (arrows (up/down)) that when clicked will scroll up and down, and then others for left and right...
How do i do this? I dont want windows default scroll bars to appear.. i know can disable them but then is there a property / method to scroll in a direction, let my code do the work.... i would also then want it so as you scroll my custom scroll buttons wont go away, as you scroll they should stay in the same spot.. i think i can do that by a panel and docking, so that isnt important.
I'm trying to make a slider, or a custom scroll bar, whatever you want to call it, in VB 2010. But I want it to act as an usual scroll bar. I simply can't make it stay inside my form, it just moves around. I have a photo of my code and my designer down the thread. What should I add? I tried to make it stay inside Panel1.
I want my User Control to be able to have Literal Content inside of it. For Example:

And when I put text inside this control (like above) i get this error: Parser Error Message: Literal content ('Please enter your login information to access CKMS:') is not allowed within a 'System.Collections.ArrayList'.This control could have other content than just the text, so making the Content property an attribute will not solve my problem.I found in some places that I need to implement a ControlBuilder Class, along with another class that implements IParserAccessor.Anyway I just want my default "Content" property to have all types of controls allowed in it, both literal and actual controls.
In DGV, if the contents of the cell is truncated, the DGV shows ellipses (three dots) (...); but as the font is set to a Gujarati font, it displays a Gujarati alphabet "ઈઈઈ" instead of "..." because the Gujarati character "ઈ" is coded with the English "." (dot) character.In Gujarati font, "." can be generated with the English character "P".So, How can I change the ellipses to English "P" character? I'm trying to create a function that searches up a WebControl's parent-child relationship (basically the opposite of WebControl.FindControl(id as String), but looking for a specific WebControl type).

I have a user control in an ItemTemplate for a GridViewRow. I'm trying to reference the GridViewRow from the user control. The user control may or may not be inside a div or other types of controls, so I don't know exactly how many parent's up to look (i.e. I can't just use userControl.Parent.Parent). I need a function that will find the first GridViewRow that it finds on the way up the parent-child hierarchy.
I have been stumped on this for about 3 weeks now. In the beginning me and my partner have been trying to hit this at the internal angle. only problem is different html tables are constructed different than others. We are needing to extract from multiple pages and sites so we know that Regex will be the best solution. We can use the same script for everything. This is my first time working with Regex, I got it actually extracting the very first ip[proxy]. I have no idea why it isn't extracting every one on the page. I also have to add the . in between each each octave of the ip. That is weird because I have it in the Regexpession to find the .'s.What I'm Needing is for this to basically scan the whole page and grab all the ipsorts and add them to a listbox.Here is my

I call the method GetUrl below provided in a form-based assembly from a console application to get the content of an HTML page. This works fine so far with one exception. The code starts an iexplore-process in the background and this process remains active even after fnishing my program. The only way I found to get rid of this process was to kill the process, but this seems not be be a very nice and mature solution. I already read that the NET webbrowser control in only a wrapper for an activeX COM control of IE.
Question: How can I close the newly created iexploe-process in a clean way using the webrowser object?
I have a tab control with two tab pages. One page has the auto scroll enabled since there is to much content in the page. The middle mouse wheel doesn't scroll the scroll bar; I have to actually click and hold the scroll bar and drag it down to scroll. Is there a property to allow this?
I am having an odd problem with the Horizontal Scroll Control in my program.I am using it to scroll a series of panels across a form.This is my code:

If I scroll using the slider and move it quickly then the scroll gets out of sync.The small change and large change are both set to 1 and maximum is set to 8
I have a DataGridView with a panel above it, that contains a group of textboxes above each column. My DataGridView has a horizontal scroll bar. What I want to do is when the DataGridView scrolls horizontally, scroll the panel with textboxes above it, so they stay aligned.I tried handling the DataGridView's scroll event, but I'm not sure what to do with it.
I am loading several command buttons into it (one in each grid box). I have the panel set to autoscroll. When TableLayoutPanel is set to AddColumns, all works well. However, I dont want horizontal scroll, I want vertical. When I set TableLayoutPanel to AddRows, a vertical scrollbar will not appear.
The project I'm attempting to accomplish has to do with real estate. What I would like to do is go to a URL, automatically enter login information, once logged on, be able to grab certain pieces of text from the page, and then paste those pieces of text into another online application that also requires a login.
That probably sounded a little complicated but basically all I'm doing is putting text into textboxes and then pressing buttons. It would make the job much easier if it were automated.
I searched the forums and found that the webControl module seemed to be the place to start so i enabled it in my Toolbox. I then tried downloading "IE developer toolbar" to find the name of the first textbox on the webpage. How would I leave the vertical scroll position as it is and set the horizontal scroll position all the way left if it isn't already in that position? I've been using Me.AutoScrollPosition and have come up with code that is satisfactory but I haven't been able to always leave the vertical scroll position exactly as it is and just move the horizontal scroll position to the left limit.
I have a textbox that shows events on a program, which I add. I use the 'scroll bar' option on the textbox to show the vertical scroll bar, but how do I make it stay at the bottom most possible? I'd like the newest, most recent events to appear at the bottom of the textbox, and to have the user not have to scroll down every time something new is added.
