have to say that, i got an error message when i finished publishig the project and then run it to another computer. Sounds either just in debugger problem or the way i connected and deployed my database called testMe.accdb is incorrect.Her's exact error message:ed exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box. What is this Error about, can anyone explain please?

i am developing a windowsService called MyFirstWindowsService. And also i created a setup project for my windows sercive.it installed successfully. But i am unable to start. While starting it shows error like "An unhandled Exception (System.ArgumentException) occured in myFirstWindowsService.exe"

I'm creating this VB 2008 application and I want to make it into a CD so it can be installed in other computers. Problem is, after I create the setup and start it even from the computer that created the application in the first place, it gives me the "unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will wignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately." and "The following file could not be found: "C:UsersMyNameAppDataLocalApps2.0Data\VHMGGXM7.8K8..." errors.
Since my first "form" is a login system, I am not sure if this problem appears because of the database search, or just the transition between forms (unlikely, I guess, since there is sort of an introductory video before the login system which uses the same logic to transition between forms)... So I tried moving the access database to a different path and I wanted to know how to tell the program (through v.b.) that the database is now in "this path" without having to re-connect and create a new DataSet, which will make me have to start the whole project again. I set up the whole project in Program Files (a place all computers must have). The video before the login system works fine, but I can't really find any other problem.

I've been using it for three days, and tried to make my own application. Everything was going okay, it ran fine in the debugger and everything worked, so I assumed there would be no problems. But then when I went to run it from the exe in the folder, it shows me this:

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section. The application must also be compiled with debugging enabled.

This does not happen on all the forms within the app, just some. This happens on some systems running XP and the app runs fine on others running XP. So foar it has run on all systems running Vista. It happens some of the time on Windows 7

I'm making a program from witch one could run an application with different credentials.I can compile the program successfully, but when I press the button to run the program I get the following error: Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. I found some threads talking about this.. but when I follow the thread on where to do it.. it must be talking VS2005.. cause on vs2008 in project properties -> application tab-> I dont see View Application Events button. so I assume its moved in VS2008 ? I did find some code I guess to do the same thing.. but I wanted to make sure I do it correct.. since I have an app that a client is running and they keep getting framework exceptions and I have no clue where its coming from.

I am writing a program that creates a file and attaches it to an email. I use a loop to create the attachment, send the email and then do it again with different information in the attachment. This works well for one tim through the loop, but on the second time through I get an error when I try to open the file for output to create the new version of the file. I get an unhandled exception of "The process cannot access the file 'c:ProjectArticles1Article.txt' because it is being used by another process.". How can I release the file from being used once the email has been sent?
