My problem is once I filter my datagridview I cant seem to be able to update the database. The error I get is Concurrency violation: the Update Command affected 0 of the expected 1 records. Why is it that I cant update after i filter????

When I run the debugger, the datatable appears to be populated rowcount is 2206 and 7 columns. When the bindingsource.datasource is set, everything looks good. View 1 RepliesI'm working with payroll application and I need data grid to view dates from 1/1/2011 to 31/1/2011 and this dates should be change by textboxs out of data grid to choose from where to start and when will end I mean he may change it to 1/1/2011 to 12/1/2011 so the first column will be the dates also second column will be if it is friday or Monday etc. Then 3rd column will be get from sql database table the time of check in and we will use this query.

I have a dataset along with code for validation. When I use a datagridview and setting the EditMode to OnEnter I get the red exclamations telling me that I have an error when this is needed. This works all good. when I click the save button on the BindingNavigator, the application saves the record even when this validation is showing. How do I filter up this validation code through a datagridview and stop the program saving the data? If you need the code for more information, I will add this to the forum.

which is supposed to get all the data from my table and set it as the datasource of a DataGridView. You can see where I put in two msgbox's to view how many columns are in the DGV before and after the "update". The first count gives me 22, which is the correct number. After the .DataSource and .DataMember lines are ran, the count jumps to 41 and I have no clue why. All I want to do is clear a dataset, fill it with the new data and set it as the data source of a datagridview. It appears the info is being saved to the table correctly too.

I have a datagridview which is populated from a database. I have added buttons to this to edit, view, delete. For some reason using the edit button and updating the database my grid fails to respond. I have it set up to display an image based on the row I click on. Before the update this works, after is does not. After the update I run a reload() where I clear out the dataset and repopulate the datagridview. Here is the code I am using for the reload and the update.

i have a datagridview with a column name 'Date' and i want to filter it using a datetimepicker.
example: when the value of datetimepicker = "specific date" then the data that will show only in my datagrid is = "specific date".
I'm adding textboxes inside a datagridview to use them to filter the data that is displayed in the grid. Each column has a textbox placed in the header. Everything is fine until the grid has the horizontalscroll visible. The texbox move if the scroll isused but they flicker and if the grid has the rowheader visible the textboxes gets over it. Is there any way to avoid the flicker and a workaround with the rowheader. I don't want to have to hide the rowheader but if there is nothing else that can be done.The class is not finish yet:
