Updating The Current Record On The DataGridView?

Visual basic 2010. I am having a problem with updating on a DataGridView that has me confused.
I have a DataGridView on the first tab page that is displaying data in a DataTable.
On the second tab I am updating the current record on the DataGridView.
The text fields on the second tab are bound to the DataTable in the following manner
rnameTxt.DataBindings.Add(New Binding("Text", TableData, "rname", True))
When I move to the second tab the correct data appears in the text fields.
When I modify a field on the second tab the modified data appears in the DataGridView, on the first tab page. But when I check for changes in the DataTable in the following manner
Dim ModifiedRows As DataTable = TableData.GetChanges() I do not see the modified row - i.e. ModifiedRows = Nothing? Why is the modification not being identified???

On my form I have a datagridview which is bound to a 'Supplier' table in Access 2003. Once I click on a record on the DataGridView, textboxes below which are also bound to the same source are automatically populated with the relevant data. What I want is when I click update, that the records in the database are updated as well as the dataset but what happens is that the dataset is updated, I invoke the tableadapater.update method but no permanent changes are made to the database.
Below is the code attached to the 'Edit Supplier' command button.

I am trying to write out to console a percentage of data loading. I tried to use C# syntax which would be Console.Write(" Percentage: " + nCurrent + "/" + nTotal; however in VB I get the actual character 'r' being displayed in my string. Is there a special code I need to insert in order to update my cursor to the beginning of the line so that I may reuse that line?

I am creating a database application via visual studio, using VB.NET and with an access database. I've connected them and have been using them fine so far however I've had to make some changes to the original access database. I am unable to find an obvious way to update the current dataset object within the project from the new updated source file. My database has this new schema but the dataset has the old one so its causing conflicts. The only way I've found to do this in the past is to manually update the dataset with the changes I've made in the access file, so actually doing the same thing twice! Surely this isn't the only way? The changes I've recently made are massive so will take sometime to have to do it all again. If I delete the current datasource object and add it again, there are many errors left from the deletion. If I manually try to update the files, there's always some hidden ones I've missed. Ive found some sort of guide for updating the datasource via the dataset but what I want to do is the opposite!

Essentially this section assigns a randomly generated password to a user if they have forgotten theirs. The password is generated in some other code.
I have set up the SQL to search for the log-in details (in the case and email address which is unique), it then brings in the field and then updates it to the new password.
But for some reason I cannot get it to update the MS Access Table.
I Keep getting a SYNTAX Error message.

I'm a bit of a newbie and am trying to delete the current record on a form. next record, previous record is easy. i just write the following Me.CustomerBindingSource.MoveNext()
How come there is no "Delete" method available? such as:Me.CustomerBindingSource.Delete()

I am having problems editting my record where i basically want to select a record from the datagrid view and change any details where the data is displayed in the text boxes i have put on my form and click edit and have the data updated on to the database as well as the dataset. I am returning to programming after a long absence (last real work done in VB5.0). I'm trying to do a small customer management project. I'm starting off with a DataGridView on one form showing a reduced number of fields. When the customer is selected a second form gives the full details. I struggling to find a clean way of passing the selected record to the second form. Both forms are using the same dataset.

when i use TOAD to update a table all works just fine when using this query:

I have a ListBox populated with records and an insert button that activates an InputBox which prompts for the record name. What I would like is instead of an OK or Cancel button, I'd like a Insert Above, Insert Below, or Cancel button. My current workaround is using a second InputBox so after receiving the record name, this box asks to place it above or below. It would be much easier for the user having a single InputBox that takes the record number and having the three options, above, below or cancel.
