(The same exe file, the same sql server and so on).Now, only when loading few forms I receive the following message: n error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)Note that when we log in to the application, a connection is needed. The user verifying is working fine; it means that the connection is working properly.

I have port forwarding all done and it works if I run the client and server on my own machine. If I run the client on another machine though It gives me a message box saying that it connected with the clients remote IP and at the same time it tells me it disconnected. The client never sends the system information. What is the problem?

how to create a client/server... But I couldn't... I don't want anything fancy. Just want the client to send the server 4 numbers, depending on the user's choice; after that, the server would turn off the pc, restart it, etc. It all depends on the number received.
