Wpf - ControlLibrary My.application Doesn't Working

I have built a Wpf-ControLibrary-Project to put some Controls there. In one Control i need to get some informations about assambly, Version and directory path.in the past i have done this one:

but this doesnt working anymore. I get an Error which told me that Application isn't Party of the My Namespace.

I use Visual Studio 2003, VB.net, NetFramework 1.4 and Windows XP I have been using the following Code Snippet for a number of years in both Web Services and Windows Applications. However suddenly around the 29th September 2010 it has stopped sending E-Mails from both Web Services and Windows Applications. The same problem has happened not only to my own Network but on two other Networks, one using XP as its Server and the other using Server 2003. All 3 of these are using different ISPs.

I've spent three days trying to get a user control to do some obvious things -- show, hide, and focus among other things. Done in vBASIC in Visual Studio 2010 Pro. The calling program is a Windows Forms Application, while the user control is a WPF Custom Control Library with a single object, a textbox. The reason it's a user control is that this textbox is connected to an async serial device; the reason it's in a Custom Control Library is that I'd like to be able to drop this functioning serial-port-connected textbox into future projects.
No matter what syntax I attempt, the user control (neither the control nor the text box inside it) will Hide(). I've tried every variation I can think of with control.Visible = false, exposing public subs to do the work, etc. When the form appears and characters are typed in the field, the KeyPress routine is functioning -- it will only accept numeric digits.

In spite of the call to sbControl.Hide(), the form opens with a very visible and enabled user control text box. The ability to control visibility, focus, and enable/disable seems fundamental to any control.

My module won't run, it can't find the project or library, and highlights: the Date function in: MsgBox (Date).This is happening to several VBA functions, but this is the first one.I have all the libraries referenced that I think I need, especially the Visual Basic for Applications checked.There is a MISSING: Office12 library, but the Date function is part of the VBA library, so I don't think this should be the issue.

I am developing a Winform Program in visual basic and I am using Access Tables. I want to use a bindingsource filter to do a search on Stock descriptions. I am using this but it doesn't seem to be working

What's happening is that I am only seeing products where all 3 suppliers have a price listed that isn't 0. (Products have a zero price when it becomes discontinued or supplier doesn't sell that product but we may have purchasing history against it so it can't be deleted). Therefore we do end up with products where all 3 suppliers have a zero cost. These are the products I don't want this search to return.

The below query fails with Null Reference Exception when there are elements in BOMIDs where MatID property is nothing.I thought the 'x.MatID isnot Nothing AndAlso' would prevent the x.MatID.Process part of the where from being executed. There are a couple elements in the BOMIDs collection that where MatID is nothing.

I'm very new to VB, so I was in the very first tutorial, it has me play a sound file. So I put that in, ran it, and it came back with an error saying "system cannot find this file." I guess I'm not terribly surprised, since the file they gave has no C: or anything like that. What I want to do now is play my very own sound file, but I don't want to go through the whole C:Documents and Settings... thing, so is there a way I can put my own sound file in the project directory and say something like %ProjectDir%/sounds/mysound.wav?

To further clarify (see line below), the first <%=%> doesn't show me intellisense popup, the second however does, why is that? <p class="<%= boolean.falsestring %>"><%= Boolean.FalseString%></p>

The problem - The btnPause doesn't pop up until AFTER the thread sleeps, but the other two buttons works correctly. What the heck is going on? Here, I'm using the Sleep to simulate doing external events yet to be programmed.

I'm using loop to read data from sql and then make some calculations then save it again to another table but when application loop for 3 or 4 times it's freeze but the job is done but if loop = 10 or more then it is freeze and hangup for long time .i need to learn how to make my application working better and never freeze and make application working with any count for loop without freeze .

I've developed a small windows form application in Visual Studio 2005. I have tested the application on a completely fresh install of Vista 32-bit as well as Vista 64-bit and it works fine... Basically, we already had a software working in 1024x768 environment. The program however, have a lot of custom controls and forms that cause problem when users run it in a smaller screen resolution (e.g. 800x600).I had tried change the size of the forms, set auto scrolling, Klik.SizeLibNet3 and etc. All of them has too much work involved or can't achieve best result.Is there any way which I can remain the size of my program (include all the forms) and have a container with scrolling to place my program inside? Or is there any other ways that I doesn't need to modify much on my application?

I'm trying to make a easy hot key cheat system for a game. I have a timer that checks to see if the game is activated if not then it says game not running in a label box. If so then it says it's running. It detects it running so that's good. I want it to check to see if the numberic key was pressed like 1 and it will type in the cheat code. here's the source.

My vb app uses an icon which is 128x128, which looks fine on the desktop. But when viewed in a folder with View set to Extra Large Icons its size doesn't change - it is too small (smaller than 128x128). Any ideas how I can rectify this?

I want to develop an app which won't allow the user to open or jump to another application while it is open. It should be in Visual Basic. For example, if my application is open (running) and the user tries to open any other windows application like "media player" then it shouldn't open. The app should not even allow "task manager" to run. The application should completely block the windows environment while it is running.

I have a standard Visual Studio 2008 VB.Net WinForm application, running on Vista Business. One of the forms has a timer that passes Me.Handle to FlashWindowEx. This works as intended as long as none of the windows that belong to this application are the Foreground window. If this program is running and another application's window is the Foreground window, then it flashes as intended. If, however, any of this application's windows are the Foreground window, then it doesn't flash.
