Iam trying to write code that read integer numbers from user (intered in form) and put it in array and then i will do some calcuation.I declare The array z and index of array p at begining of the class (global), I dont specify the size of arry couz that it depend on user.

I know how to read user input using textbox but it only can read character and numbers. Is it possible that I want to read user input equation?
Example:
User type A+B
User put range of A and B.
1.25<A< 3.56
2.45<B< 9.87

Now I know this isn't right But I can't find out how I'd pull out the numbers the user entered to get the sum of them and not include -1 because as it stands, when I hit ENTER with -1 the label just shows -1.

I would like to write a code to read data from .gpx file, but I get stucked with classes: I have a problem with creating working array of objects in object and setting or getting data from it.

but I get always the latest values of points for all slots of array... Lets say we got 3 points as an input: 1. lon: 5, lat: 1; 2. lon: 2, lat: 3; 3. lon: 4, lat:9. I always get the same values for i = 0 to 2... lon: 4, lat: 9.

Using Excel and other MS office programs is easy enough since I just add in the relevant COMs, but I can't for the life of me find out how to run other programs. I promise I spent many hours searching before bothering you kind folks here! I am making a program, where the user enters 6 numbers in 6 different text boxes, and it displays the larger of those 6 numbers. But I also want to make it where if the user enters a string value (like S for instance) in the text boxes, it gives an message and says "please enter the numbers again" and the user gets to enter the 6 numbers again. But when I do try to do that, it gives an error message saying conversion from "w/e the user entered" to Double is not valid. If the user just enters the numbers, it works fine. However, I am trying to make it if the user does enter non numeric value, it gives a message window and the user can reenter the numbers again.

This is where I am trying to use IsNumeric to show a message if a user does not enter a string so the user can renter the numbers again, but when the user does enter a string value (say in textbox 1) it gives me an error message saying conversion from "S" to 'double' is not valid.

Then right here this is where I have my series of ifs statements, this part works fine, it displays the largest numbers of the 6 textboxes every time. Error free.

I know there are easier ways to do these with arrays and stuff. But I am not there yet. I am still learning about ifs and stuff.

(Nothing to do with the program, but the drive itself).I want to find a way to prevent these temporary drive reconnects from interrupting my code. IE, i want to insure that whatever read or write that is requested is actually executed even in the case of a temporary drive interruption.

When i try to display the integer in a listbox, it appears as a random sequence of numbers.
for example, if i input 200 into the numbericupdown, when displayed in the listbox, it is shown as 538976366
Is it an error with the properties with either the numericupdown or the listbox? or do you need to see my code?

I need to document binary files containing integer and real numbers. I use BinaryReader, and BinaryWriter classes, with functions like ReadInt16, ReadSingle, or ReadByte. The files should be readable by any other hardware architecture/OS besides x86/Windows.
I need to document the type of default binary encoding, and can't find the MS documentation.The best I found says that it uses UTF8, but as I understand, UTF8 is for text formats, not for binary numbers.
I suposse that the answer I are looking for, is something like "little endian" or "big endian" format.

I'm reading the registry values under the uninstall registry keys. I use string variables to store the program name and program version. This usually works fine but for example Firefox 10.0 appears to be less the Firefox 9 since the version is a string value.
