how to get the form to save some data, but the problem is I only know how to get it to save as the body. since the main parts of the program are third party, but here is the code I'm using to save data.

Since I have them all saving to the "body", whatever the last box is in the code is what shows for all three once I click save.

I finally figured out how to get the form to save some data, but the problem is I only know how to get it to save as the body. here is the code I'm using to save data. How can i get all 12 of my text boxes to save to the form so that when I click save and then re-open it, they're all populated? Should I use the .Tag property (don't know how) or assign the data to an array somehow?

I'm trying to create a save button on my infopath form that when clicked, it automatically saves the infopath form to a directory. I'm running into some issues, I thought it would be simple but is quickly becoming confusing. I have already done the creation of button and the dragging of button at runtime already.But now i need to know how do i save the last dragged button on the form and also detect the name of the last clicked button.so lets say i now drag a button to coordinates 25,254. so when i exit the form and the next time i launch it, the button will still be at 25,254. and this one will go on for the number of button i created like 100. so when i launch the form the 100 button will be at the exact position where i last saved them.the second part is lets say i created button1 and button2 on the form in runtime. so when i clicked the first button, it should display button1. and if i clicked on button 2, it should say button2. same goes for like 100buttons.

so i have a quite huge program. but lets say i have one label. and i want to save that. i have the code and everything for saving the text of the label. now i want to assign ctrl+s to automatically save the labels text once pressed instead of going through a menu to choose save.this is like a regular texteditor where u press ctrl+s and it saves.
ive used this

I have researched the net, youtube, and the msdn DB, and still can not find the working answer I am looking for. I would like someone to show me how you would save the contents of "Listbox1" to a .txt file using the "Save As" Option. I know how to hardcode a savepoint in, but since there will be multiple users I would like the option to be up to the end-user.

I'm redoing a program I made up a while back and need some help changing a loop. The original program had all the text boxes on same form, the redesigned program still has them all on the same form but I have them spread across multiple tabs and the background of the form.
The code below loops through each possible text box and if it exists sets the value in an array. This only works for text boxes not on tabs. I found I could change the Me.Controls to TabPage1.Controls and that would get the text boxes on tabpage1. I would like to have a single loop that can find them on any tab and off the tabs, so I don't need three separate loops.

My question is simple (the answer may not be...), What I am looking for is a way to save a file as an encrypted file (so know one can open it except in visual basic or a way to save it with a unique ending that only visual basic will recognize. I will also need to know of a way to open or load the file to.
This is going to be used in a game I am working on (and yes...I know visual basic isn't really meant for games, but it is coming together pretty well). I was originally going to have it save as a text file, but then everyone could open, read it and even change there stats. That is what this file will contain, the stats for their character, and when they load it, it will place the values into the correct spot.
I am a partial beginner or intermediate coder, I can understand code, I just don't know all there is, like saving and loading, and this is probably a little harder.

I need to save the form settings, like a save state of the form. Because the program allows the user to add controls. I would like to be able to save them and load them. BTW: The controls are Panels and Labels. BUT! The Panels are a modified version of the control, known as NewComp. This simply allows the user to drag the panel around the form.

Its a League Organizer, basicly ive started it off with 16 teams and end up with 1(winner) 16 box's on the far left, then 8, then 4, then 2, then 1. the 16 box's have "Team 1" "Team 2" etc... ive put a new/clear/open/save button in that order.
BUT this is my problem..when i save(Save Button) the text file saves all the text wrong it ends up like this...Team 1Team 2Team 3Team 4 Etc...
But i want it to save like this
Team 1
Team 2
Team 3
Team 4
Etc...

In a word processor of mine, I made a save and open feature, but, I'd like to improve my save feature, so that, when the user tries to save, it doesn't make the user choose the location every single time. So I pretty much want my save to do the same thing as MS Word when you try to save.

I have a scheduling program here that shows you a calendar and let's you double click a time to open another form where you input the meeting information. When I click save it saves the person's name to the calendar view, but no details when I double click the entry again. What would be the best method of getting the other fields to save so they're there when I double click? Should I just somehow assign them to strings and return them in the right text box or would I need an array?
EDIT: Actually there is a database involved so I guess I have to get it to store the info in there first.

I am wanting to find out how to use the Win32 hooks to allow me to add extra save locations to the save and open dialog box so as to allow as an option for files to be saved directly to a database rather than a file system.I have tried looking online but can't find anything remotely usable for this, the only data on hooks that I can find involves Window operation hooks, mouse, leyboard, and shell hooks, nothing to do with files.

I'm creating a program and i want it to secretly save when the user clicks on save.
In other words, i have made it so that it saves twice. Once for the user to read (like a fancy copy) and another that the program uses to open up the form.
Currently when pushed, 2 save dialog boxes come up after each other. I don't want this to happen. I want 1 to come up (the user friendly, fancy version) which is the easy part, but i also want the other 1 to save automatically and secretly without asking the user to set the destination.
