Using "save" To Save Data To Another Form?

I have a scheduling program here that shows you a calendar and let's you double click a time to open another form where you input the meeting information. When I click save it saves the person's name to the calendar view, but no details when I double click the entry again. What would be the best method of getting the other fields to save so they're there when I double click? Should I just somehow assign them to strings and return them in the right text box or would I need an array?
EDIT: Actually there is a database involved so I guess I have to get it to store the info in there first.

in my form i have 4 textboxes and i want all not to be empty while saving the data.I have put condition in save button,when user presses the save button to save data, to check all the textboxes not to be empty. My question is that, i want to focus to that particular textbox which is empty during saving the data.
For example: i have txt1,txt2,txt3,txt4 as textboxes in the form if txt1 is empty while saving, the focus should switch to txt1 rather user himself have to go there.

im trying to make a basic Database
Its suppose to save the stuff written in the texbox for example
I have to input 255 students Name, address, age and Birthdays and save them all and then try to find all of the info stored by entering the Name.
Also i have to generate a student Id not just giving a Id to them so for example if the first student i enter his ID # should be 1 and so on as i enter the name

I need to save the form settings, like a save state of the form. Because the program allows the user to add controls. I would like to be able to save them and load them. BTW: The controls are Panels and Labels. BUT! The Panels are a modified version of the control, known as NewComp. This simply allows the user to drag the panel around the form.

Im new here and hoping that I post this in the right forum. I am SLOWLY learning VB, and have run into a problem that I cant figure out. I have a standard form that you can enter data into.I want to take that data that is entered, and save it to a text file once I click the submit button at the bottom of the form. I have three tables under one database. I'm using the built-in Navigator control for now until I get this figured out, but I'm using a button command instead of the built in navigator button. I finally figured out how to get the form to save some data, but the problem is I only know how to get it to save as the body. here is the code I'm using to save data. [Code] Since I have them all saving to the "body", whatever the last box is in the code is what shows for all three once I click save. Does any of that make sense? How can i get all 12 of my text boxes to save to the form so that when I click save and then re-open it, they're all populated? Should I use the .Tag property (don't know how) or assign the data to an array somehow?

I am wanting to find out how to use the Win32 hooks to allow me to add extra save locations to the save and open dialog box so as to allow as an option for files to be saved directly to a database rather than a file system.I have tried looking online but can't find anything remotely usable for this, the only data on hooks that I can find involves Window operation hooks, mouse, leyboard, and shell hooks, nothing to do with files.

I'm creating a program and i want it to secretly save when the user clicks on save.
In other words, i have made it so that it saves twice. Once for the user to read (like a fancy copy) and another that the program uses to open up the form.
Currently when pushed, 2 save dialog boxes come up after each other. I don't want this to happen. I want 1 to come up (the user friendly, fancy version) which is the easy part, but i also want the other 1 to save automatically and secretly without asking the user to set the destination.

so i have a quite huge program. but lets say i have one label. and i want to save that. i have the code and everything for saving the text of the label. now i want to assign ctrl+s to automatically save the labels text once pressed instead of going through a menu to choose save.this is like a regular texteditor where u press ctrl+s and it saves.
ive used this
