I have currently processed a credit card using Authorize.net with Card Present settings. The great thing is that the card is being transacted but when i use the same card with different expiry date or a different cvs number the card is still being transacted. This shouldnt happen. When viewing a dates Kind property in the watch windows the value "unspecified" will always be return regardless of the actual value.I'm kinda guessing this could be more of a general bug relating to the quick watch window evaluating the shared "Date.Kind" property rather than the specific date instances property.

If I have a php server, each time someone starts my application it should connect to the server and check the users computer name against a list of authorized computers, possibly using MySQL.
I am making changes to my companies internal paysite in order to come into compliance with the new credit card regulations. We have decided that when we get a split tender transaction that comes through we want to get the remaining balance along with how much was on the card to start out with and send that info back to the customer service rep with a message relaying the need for another payment source along with the remaining balance and the amount that was originally on the card.
Instead of chaining the transactions together with the split tender Id we have decided we would like to finalize each split tender transaction with a prior_auth_capture and then request the next payment source and amount and process that transaction in the same manner. I know that we are side stepping the functionality some but those are my orders.
My questions are, is this feasible and possible and how do you do this in code? I am using the C# SDK to implement this in VB.NET 2008
My thoughts are that I would have to process the transaction for the amount passed as a auth_capture transaction and then some how do the prior_auth_transaction with a zero amount or something?
any scratch program that i can review to make an expiration alert.. im going to make a inventory of products with expiration date and then.. if the date that i putted on their expiration date the product will be automatically viewed on the Expired Product Form..

I am debugging an application that I ported from Windows, to *nix, a little while ago. The app stores dates as doubles (using the OLE Date format). I need to be able to inspect the dates - as human readable strings. I cant find an online conversion tool, so I decided to roll my own.
I was originally going to write an OpenOffice function, but I think it would be more straightforward to use one of the .Net languages, to write a small console app that accepts the double as a parameter and prints the date string to the console.
I am relatively new to .Net (though I have dabbled with both C# and VB.Net in the past). Can anyone help with my main() function? - snippets in either VB.Net or C# will be equally useful.
I am developing a database in which I want to calculate the duration of the expiration of membership automatically from the Date of Registration & Membership Option.

Membership Option: Single (3 Months)
From those input show MsgBox that the membership have expired automatically after 3 Months from the Date of Registration.

I have a date in the future e.g. 13/10/2008 I need to subtract the current date (today is the 28/09/2010) minus 7 days, so thats 21/09/2010 minus 13/10/2008, which would equal erm, 720 something ? But the current date won't always be 28/09/2010, obviously. I need the code for this. EDIT: When i said future I mean past :)

When my program wanted to add a startup shortcut for All User in Win 7 (or Vista), it got an "Unauthorized Access Exception", even i login as admin.

I'm using the Authorize() attribute to secure my controllers/actions and want to only display the Login action to unauthenticated users - or to put it another way, deny access to authenticated users. I haven't been able to find anything on the web dealing with either denying permission or allowing negative permissions (i.e., ! LoggedIn)

For testing, I created a database with 1 table with 4 columns. I used SQL Server to add 2 records. I then created a new project with 2 forms. On one form, I put a DataGridView control. On the other, I used bound text boxes. Both had a ToolStrip. I made changes to the data through the forms. Both forms seemed to work properly, except when I looked at the data again using SQL Server, the data had not changed. Opening the forms again, the data had reverted to the original data.
I am using the code created by controls, so it should work. When I use the Database Explorer in VB, it shows the table and the data and I can make changes to that data. So why is my code not committing the transactions?[code]...

Given a week number, I need to get the date of the Monday of that week.For example, I have several strings that are stored in a file, such as
"WK 28 2010"
"WK 30 2010"
They could be any any valid week number.
The Monday on Week 28 of the year is 12 July 2010
The Monday on Week 30 of the year is 26 July 2010
Its these dates that I need.
I guess I could create a lookup table, but would prefer a more smarter approach so my software will be future compatible?
