64bit - Refreshing IE Window Automatically Does Not Work ?

I have tried to write a simple function to bring an Internet Explorer windows to the foreground and then press F5 to refresh it using the dll function: Declare Function SetForegroundWindow Lib "user32" (ByVal hwnd As Integer) As Integer
and then later call this function using:
SetForegroundWindow(processID.MainWindowHandle.ToInt32)
SendKeys.Send("{F5}")
However, when I tried to debug the code, the setforeground does not work.I am using a Windows 2008 (64 bit) so I thought I should use ToInt64 instead. However that did not seem to do the trick as well, when I called SetForegroundWindow, nothing seems to come up.

I'm new to VB programming and I'm trying to develop a program where you browse and select a picture, then it opens in a Picturebox. Afterwards you can choose to open that same picture in paint. My question is, after opening it in paint, making changes to it and saving the picture, how can I make it refresh automatically on the Picturebox with the new changes ? have a main form that displays a users score.I hide the main form when going to a child form.When that child form is closed, it will show the main form.The problem is that the datathat has been changed when going to the child form is not displayed on the main form since it has not been closed.Is there anyway around this?

Everything is nice and dandy on my pc, then I compile, move it to its final destination and I doesn't work! At first I thought it was a OS problem, but both machines has win7, I then thought it was a compilation problem, installed visual studio on the other pc, recompiled still with no luck, then it dawned on me, may it be a problem of 32bit vs 64bit?The piece of code is this:[code]....

if you guys have used office 2003 or better( i am sure all) then you would have seen that when the help window open it causes the active windows say of MS WORD to change accordingly so that this help windows fits with it along the right side and this functionality i want to implement in my VB windows application and have no idea how to do it Also i have seen this feature in GOOGLE DESKTOP GADGETS...

Is there any way in c# or VB to automatically move the controls in a panel when the window is resized. I do not want the Anchor property, which only resizes the control. THe use is that controls are added at runtime to the form, and when the locations/values are loaded on a computer with a larger monitor, they are in the incorrect positions.

I use the binding navigator in my application, but when the resolution of the display gets to small and I have to use the scrollbars I get a problem. the scrollbars automatically scrolls down below the navigator bar instead of showing it when the window loads.

VB Windows form Application.. I am developing an application of which part of the program is around configuration settings allowing the user to enter configuration items. When the menubar item for configuration menu is clicked on the main form the menu opens.This is fine but the mainform should not become active again until the configuration menu has closed. This does not happen right now and the mainform simply comes to the foreground and the configuration form goes to the background... I realize that coding an event on the Child form to handle this would not work because the child window loses control and the main form gains control.. I thought of coding a function as follows on the main form but it does not seem logical because i would have to add to it for everyform and do checking to make sure the child is actually open before trying to close it..

I have a datagrid view containing a customer list that if if double click on a row it brings up a customer maintenance window. Once I hit a save bottom on the second form how can I automatically update the database, refresh the grid on the initial window but remain on the same row on form1 that I double clicked on in the first place. Currently I am re-loading the datagrid on the initial form with all the data once I close the second window down.

I have an aspx page with a button. When the user clicks that button, the following javascript opens a new browser window (in this case, 'Reasons.aspx'). Works great. Here's the function for that part:

When this window pops up, there are some controls. One of which is a button, which triggers almost identical code to popup a third window (in this case, ReasonCodes.aspx). Only it won't work. Here's the code for that:

I've set breakpoints on the javascript. It does execute. Here's what's weird -- The above javascript executes, only I don't get a new window with ReasonCodes.aspx. However, I set a breakpoint in the page_load of ReasonCodes.aspx and all of it executes. So the javascript executes, the code-behind page_load of the third page executes, but I don't get a third page. Instead, the second window (Reasons.aspx) refreshes. It's like my third window is somehow 'hidden'.

I'm using the following code to iterate through and find windows containing specific strings in their title bars. I have two projects containing this identical information, yet for some reason - it works when targeted to x64, but FindWindowLike returns 0 always on x86. I need this to run in x86.I am developing this on Windows 7 x64, but it needs to run on my machine as well as XPx32. What I can't fathom is why it compiles/runs on x64 but not x32 (considering I'm targetting user*32*.dll)
