Access Create Multiple Records Based On A Date Range?

I have an MSAccess 2007 DB to record our employees Personal Days Off (PDO). Until now I have only had a form to record each single day taken. This results in time consuming repetitive entry when an employee takes multiple consecutive days or weeks off.
My database consists of two tables:tbl_PDO (to hold the Worker, DateTakenOff and TimeTaken) tbl_Employees (containing the Employees contact info, Name, Address, etc.) A form for Single date data entry with tbl_PDO as the record source and the following fields: (This is the original entry method one day at a time and works as it should)cboWorker(with Record Source tbl_Employee[Worker] DateTakenOff(ShortDate) TimeTaken (in hours) A form for Date Range entry with tbl_PDO as the recored source and the following fields: cboWorker(with Record Source tbl_Employee[Worker] StartDate EndDate TimeTaken (in hours) I have been trying to work with bits and pieces of code Ive found online to create multiple rows in a table based on a date range.[code]...

Now what I want to do is on a button click, I want to search the database for a date range, lets say September/01/2010 thru September/30/2010. Then I want to pull all of the Pprice values and add them together to come up with an inventory parts cost for the month.

Would it be possible to search a table, confining to a specific date range based on a date-time column, and get a count of the 10 most used words in a particular var-char column excluding a list of words?All in SQL?Currently I am pulling out the records that match and sorting through the contents outside of SQL, I would think where I can do it directly on the server it would be more efficient.(SQL 2008)

Have a column of dates which i need to compare to a specific time of the year, which establishes what calculation needs to be applyed then depending on the outcome apply conditional formating to highlight an adjcent cell, but need to remove the YY element as the contents spans multiple years.
if the date in A1 is between 1st Jan & 14th Mar use -8
if the date in A1 is between 15th Mar & 15th Oct use -17
if the date in A1 is between 16th Oct & 31st Dec use -8

I have several records in a database that have Start and End Dates
09/15/2011 - 09/30/2011
10/15/2011 - 10/22/2011
11/01/2011 - 11/15/2011
When user stores a record, I need to make sure dates don't overlap.My simple code checks date ranges within a specific record (e.g. user enters 9/16/2011 or 10/21/2011, I throw an exception.)But, on the slim chance a user gets creative (e.g. 10/14/2011 - 10/23/2011 or even 10/14/2011 to 11/16/2011), now they have circumvented my check.BTW, the user could enter 10/14/2011 to 10/23/2011 if they were editing the record that contained values 10/15/2011 - 10/22/2011.So, I'm trying to solve this riddle with a linq query. However, what I have isn't working exactly right.
UPDATE Nevermind about code not working. While trying to provide an example to expand on Miika's repsonse, I found my answer. So, giving credit to Miika for pointing me in the right direction and posting my working code below:

am using sql 2005 and vb 2008.i need to compare dates and select matching records betweem a selected date range.say records between 11/13/2010 and 11/20/2010.e.thing is working ok except when it comes to selecting dates between 11/1/2010 and 11/9/2010.this is happening because when am retrieving the dates from database,its being retrieved in the format 11/01/2010 instead of 11/1/2010 and so it reports no records found,and knowing the limits of sql 2005 this is the only way i can retrieve the date. I used following code searching records from a table in MsAccess and displaying in a Listview and it is working fine with the search criteria based on Discription.

I have the following code to select records from an access table based on a date range. The user is required to select a week ending date (Saturday) from a datetimepicker field.The date field in access is formatted as short.The values in the database range from 12/04/2009 to 2/05/2009. When I select datetimepicker as 2/05/2009 (i.e. 2 May 2008), no rows are returned. Following is the resultant sql statement:
show: Select * FROM Work_Time WHERE WorkerID =1001 AND (WeekDate >=#26/04/2009# AND WeekDate <=#2/05/2009#)
However, if I select datetimepicker as 25/04/2009, the correct numbers of rows are returned. Following is the resultant sql statement:

I have an MS Access database that has a field called DeletedDate. I want to use a Delete statement that will delete the record(s) when DeleteDate is 30 days old or older. I have tried several different Delete statements but none seem to work properly. They will always delete some of the records, but will leave some records where either DeleteDate is older than 30 days or will delete recored where DeleteDate is not yet 30 days old. I have tried these using DeleteDate as a Text field and as a Date/Time field. Which should I use? These are the Delete Statements that I have used:

I need some help in the creation of a program to generate a security code based on the current date. I need to create something that first multiplies the MMDDYY (ie X=MM * DD * YY) then also adds the MMDDYY then finds the remainder and then multiplies but a specified number. I would like to create a small program that sits in the system tray with this code displayed. The code will always need to be 6 characters, so I might need to pad it with zeros. It has been years since I took basic VB, and I am really rusty.

i have a simple application which can create/update/delete/search records using Access database. If i add a record, save it, then close the application and run it again and search for that record, it appears. However, when i write some code to my application, nothing to do with the search function, and i run the application the record is not found. For example i added a button to clear the textfields, and when i ran the application the records i have added earlier were not found.

I am now trying to do the same thing in Visual Basic, with no luck. I have a need to verify SSN's that are entered based on a reserved range (these are used for advertising and will never become valid). The input is from a masked text box formatted as 000-00-0000. I may be wrong, but I figured the most logical method would be to remove the hyphens and convert the string to an integer, then compare the starting point and end point of the range.

I'm currently trying to create an Information System of customers who does have different prices for one generic set of products. For example, there's a list of customers, then once you choose one, the system will show a generic product list but a set of price list specifically encoded for that specific customer. How to get if the date entered is in the range?
Ex. the month of April, the number of days is only 1 to 30. What if the user will enter the date range of 4/1/2011 to 4/31/2011 in the mask textbox? I am using Mask textbox because datetimepicker will not accept empty value and it cannot be empty either.
I'm asking this because I encountered an error when querying in MS SQL SERVER 2005. It says "The conversion of char data type to smalldatetime data type resulted to in an out-of-range smalldatetime value." I thought it was the casting or conversion problem. I've observed the SQL when transacting and I found no difference with my code.
So then, I just figured it out that my date exceeded the number of days of the April month.
