Basically, I want to have a database that's lightweight and I won't need to install amillion other things on my clients computers for them to access this.I just need a simple method of reading and writing values so that they're not hardcoded into the program. I could do MySQL (which is what I'm very familiar with), but it doesn't need to be making calls remotely.

I am now thinking of having each thread store the data directly into a arrayList, and after a certain amount of time past, store from the arrayList to the text file. However in another method i need to be able to access this DataTable, yet whenever I do it always appears as nothing. Do I need to be storing this value elsewhere like in the session etc?
I am trying to store things such as user data for each user in my program, like with a class I made named UserData. I would like to have data different for each user. How can I do this? Worst case, Is there a way I can disable the numbers from changing to use ',' and just use '.' always regardless what language it is? My working language is vb.net?

when I add a product to the shopping cart it adds it very well but the problem is in the session, it stores it in the server not in the client browser.
so if some body visit the website from another computer he can see the added products on his browser while it should be empty.
Is there a way to save it on the client side instead of the server side ??

My problem is that when the test runs, using TestDriven.Net, the three method parameters are 0 and not the values I am expecting. I have referenced the NUnit.Framework (v.2.5.3.9345) anf the NUnitExtension.RowTest (v.1.2.3.0).

I can create several properties of a custom class and get/set values or I can create a method to set them all at once. I've mainly been recording keystrok macros... I created visual basic code that allows the user of a template to hide table gridlines - which works fine. The code to show gridlines does not work if the table has only one row. Here is the code - it is getting "stuck" on the

However it always returns 0. I've checked and the GetPartCost function executes and returns a non-zero number but the list item cost properties are never updated.The property is just a simple property,

i have a form with 12 text boxes. I'm trying to get the data from those text boxes to "save", and when that form is opened again have the data be inserted back. This form has different time slots so I need to be able to have it save and repopulate based on what time slot I am clicking on. I was going to have it read the data by splitting it with commas, then inserting them back into the correct fields but it's not working. I had it write the results to a text file and they get written correctly and inserted back, but the problem with that is it only reads that text file so every time slot I open up gets the same data. Below is code I used to get the data when the Save button is clicked. [Code]
Problem is I get an error saying "Char values cannot be converted to Integers" on the first line, the (","c) part. Plus even then I don't know if this would do what I want. EDIT: Ok I fixed the error and got it kind of working, but now I have a new question. Now, I put a button on the form that I can use to load the data when I choose to just to test. This works, it takes the data from each time slot and loads it back when I click the button. New question is how can I get it to load as soon as I open the existing appointment? Putting it in the form load event won't work because it checks for data before there is any in there.
