I have two Windows 7 machines and for some reason one of them does not save the changes in the file on the local computer when I right click in the WebBrowser and choose View Source.
When I click on View Source in the WebBrowser, it opens the file but with [1] attached to the filename.
When I edit the Source, and save it and reload the webbrowser,the changes not saved.
I have an application that saves details to then be viewed in a datagridview on another form. Clicking on an entry in the datagrid (I want to make this double-click, but haven't bothered to try yet) highlights the row, and loads the values to a new form, in read-only text boxes. Clicking Edit changes the read-only value of these text boxes and allows you to edit (obviously) the contents. I have another button, Save which I want to click to commit the changes to the loaded items in the datagrid.

View 1 RepliesI have a WebBrowser Control in my VB.NET application. Now the it browses through many URLs (may be 10 - 20) and I want that each of the page HTML saved in text file. Now the thing is that when I write the HTML of page in file, it does not write the HTML of current page rather than the initial one because it calls the event before even the page is loaded.
How can I wait until the page is completely loaded before calling any event?

I know the functions webbrowser1.isbusyandebbrowser1.readystate=readystate_complete work for the main window, but it does not work when a frame is loading. It simply keeps saying the page is done loading. The event webbrowser1_documentcompleted sort of works, it registers when my frame has loaded, but it also registers when all the other frames are loaded. Is there a way to just check on the status of one particular frame.

In my userform I have a WebBrowser control to load PDF files. I have added a FolderBrowserDialog to allow user selection of drives and or folders.
What I am trying to do now is after a file has been selected and viewed, the user may want to change drives and or folder locations. How do I remove the current contents of the WebBrowser control to be a blank screen (just like when the app starts, its blank).
I want to make a message box appear to show that the webpage has already loaded. I have used the code below:

View 16 RepliesI have a multiline textbox which is loading from a .dat file. However, despite telling it to load all of the .dat file, it misses off the end. I it copies the first large body of text and a load of spaces that are inbetween the first and second body, but doesn't load the second body of text. Here is the code I'm using to open my file:

2. The output is shown in a new window (labels) with result from that particular file. If multiple files are selected that the output should show result from all files in different labels.
3. Excel program stays open in memory after closing my application.

Or we can add them and copy.The way I did it in vb.6 is equivalent with add them as link and choose not to copy.Also what's the point of copying to target folder anyway? I want the original linked file to be updated when I change the file during debuging.
