I want my program to find the TITLE text, and then put the text in the double quotations in a variable.
I need to check if the webpage contains class="listingTitle">
So im using this

That doesnt work. I tried "class='listingTitle'>", and I tried "class=""listingTitle"">" both dont work.
This is a very beginner question, but driving me crazy. Why isn't this code working?[code]Have also tried using Response.Write() but that doesn't work either.

As you can see I have set the HasFieldsEnclosedInQuotes property to true on the textfieldparser because I want to make sure I capture the data correctly if quotation marks are used. If I set the HasFieldsEnclosedInQuotes property to False then it all works (or at least it doesnt error anyway) but like I said, I need to have that set to true because otherwise if the line contained a tab character within the quote marks then my app would think this was two separate fields and process it incorrectly.
I want to change some text inside a textbox when a checkbox is checked. I tried many things, but none seems to work. I need that, when checkbox gets checked, the textbox value gets deleted from backwars until a dot. Then, place another predefined text immediately after this dot.

I have a textbox on a form which I load the contents of a text file into. The values for some of the properties are as follows:
Readonly = false
Wordwrap = false
Multiline = true
Scrollbars = Vertical
When the scrollbars is set to vertical, then I am able to make any changes to the text inside of the textbox, deleting, typing in new text, cutting and pasting, etc. However if the scrollbars is set to both, then the only thing I am able to do is delete the text. It does not allow me to type any text into the textbox. All the other settings are the same as before. How would I make the text region editable with scrollbars set to both?
I am using ASP.NET. I am not sure what you will call this but I would like text to be displayed in my text box called txtName. So when the form load the text box will have faded text that will say "Required". Then when the user click inside the text box i want the user to place a value inside the text box. Is this possible in ASP.NET? If so, how can this be done????
View 5 RepliesIs there an Excel text file format (XlFileFormat) to export that will not put quotation marks around strings? I've tried xlTextWindows. Maybe there is an additional setting I'm missing? Most of the time, the datasets I'm exporting are in CSV, but I have a situation where I still want to export with an Excel type (long story) but really it is just a small blob of text. Otherwise, I'd just export to a text file; trying to avoid that for this one case.

I am making an invoicing application. I have a label (lblCost) inside of a UserControl (InvoiceEntry) inside of a FlowLayoutPanel (pnlEntries). InvoiceEntry represents a line item on the invoice, and pnlEntries is the "body" of the invoice. pnlEntries can hold several InvoiceEntry controls.
I am attempting to sum all of the lblCost values from each InvoiceEntry control to make a subtotal, and I want that subtotal to change automatically if costs are changed (e.g., a change in quantities being ordered). Is there a way to handle when the lblCost.Text property of any of the InvoiceEntry controls contained within pnlEntries changes?
