I have a textbox on a form which I load the contents of a text file into. The values for some of the properties are as follows:
Readonly = false
Wordwrap = false
Multiline = true
Scrollbars = Vertical
When the scrollbars is set to vertical, then I am able to make any changes to the text inside of the textbox, deleting, typing in new text, cutting and pasting, etc. However if the scrollbars is set to both, then the only thing I am able to do is delete the text. It does not allow me to type any text into the textbox. All the other settings are the same as before. How would I make the text region editable with scrollbars set to both?

So when the form load the text box will have faded text that will say "Required". Then when the user click inside the text box i want the user to place a value inside the text box. I have a class that add extra information about a column for linq2sql (see code below) right now, I have to explicitly tell what column I want that info on, how would you put that code with a loop on every column in every table from a dbml file? But the problem is the variable where it bind to the ucUserControlMain textbox remains Blank, When i query the my database table, only the UserInforID and the DateAdded has been updated and the other column remains blank where the variable get it in the UCMain Textbox...

The "H" in hullLevel shows up in line 26 in some of the files, line 27 in other, line 36 in some others and line 37 in yet others.
The reason this jumps around is that this comes from a file that is edited by other modders when they create a ship for a game that I'm modding.My program is designed to allow the user to visually see a representation of how strong and well equiped a ship is and change the values of each line with a slider bar.I have all the slider bar and progress bar code worked out.
I just need a way to reliably pull these lines no matter where they are from the ship file chosen by the user so that the program can edit them without disturbing the rest of the text in the file.
