So every time the text updates i want to scroll down. If you donīt Believe in it, Then it Doesnīt Exist!

Feb 7, 2011a user copies multiple lines of text (say, from an email) into the clipboard. Based on my observations, when one tries to paste the text into a single-line textbox, only the first line is actually pasted in. (I am aware that the "obvious" solution would be to set the Multiline property to True, but there are reasons I am looking to avoid this and to put multi-line data into a single line.)
In the TextChanged event handler, I wrote code that parses the clipboard data to successfully convert it to a single-line, comma-delimited format.

Basically, How do i make it so when i click a BUTTON a text is written in a MULTILINE-TEXTBOX which i get to choose which bits of the text goes on which line.

Aug 13, 2010I have several multi-line textboxes that I want to lose focus (i.e. when the user presses the right arrow key) but the control wil not relinquish the focus.Simply put, I first verify if the selection start is at the end of the text, if it is, and the user presses the arrow key, it should move to the next textbox. some debug.print code placed in strategic locations indicates that the target textbox gets focus and immediately loses it and the source textbox gains focus once again. Essentially not allowing the textbox to lose focus.

After changing the source textbox multi-line property to false, it behaves as expected. Is this a "feature" .. surely I don't have to resort to "SendKeys"

Implement A Multi User Login On One Of Forms?
May 24, 2012I am currently working on a project for school in which I am trying to implement a multi user login on one of my forms. I have an internal database connected in which one of my tables contains the user-names and passwords. I have a For/each loop to search the table for a matching username/password before allowing access to next form. The problem is even if the username/password is correct, my message box still appears to notify of invalid credentials, but still allows access to other form. The problem only occurs when I implement two For/each loops. With one, code works fine. Can any one see what might be wrong?

Sep 10, 2009I have been using this line: Me.dgvWpt.FirstDisplayedScrollingRowIndex = to alter which line is first displayed on a DGV that is located on a tab. I have been trying to get it to scroll to a certain line, which changes, but that's irrelevant, when the grid is first viewed. I have been unable to get this to happen. After the first time it is viewed, I can use that line to scroll the DGV to any row. The code I use to automatically scroll it to various places works perfectly anytime after the first time it is viewed, but it is ALWAYS showing from the first row the first time it is viewed.
