What i want to do is add a download button to my project with a progress bar
to download a file called eg my custom world at war zombie map.zip to
C:usernameappdataloacalactivationcodwawmodsmapname
what i want is it to be installed in there but i dont what the user to have a choice i just what it to be installed there is that possible so when they click download it will download the file to that location
i want to know how do i make my own program what can download files ? theres the pic what i want to make it look like I JUST NEED THE SOURCE CODES.

I want it so that the user clicks on a radio button based on what System Menu their Wii is running on. There is currently, System Menu 4.0 or less, System Menu 4.2, and System Menu 4.3.
They also have to choose a region from a List Box. The current options are:
Region U (Americas)
Region K (Korean)
Region J (Japanesse)
Region E (European)
I also want it so that the user can choose where to download the installation files for the Wii soft Mod.
I want to have a button that when the user clicks on it, a pop up asks them where they want to download the files to appear, once they choose a location, i want it to download a file based on what they chose and i also want it so that it tells them what to do with the files and where to put them.
How do i make my button open a program and make it windows size?

View 10 RepliesIn my program, if something goes wrong an ErrorForm is supposed to show up and tell what was going wrong.
And if the error is a "fatal type", then I want the program just display the ErrorForm (which gives some information about the error), wait for a button press, and then close the program (terminate run).
In case of error, the form is displayed.. That's good.
But as the program is supposed to terminate after showing the error form, the error form disappears immediately after showing up (so it doesn't allow the user any time to read what's going wrong).
How can I make the program wait until a button press (on the error form) and then terminate?
I want make VB program that has two text boxes and one button. Text boxes are for Proxy server IP and port. And button is just confirming it. Thats fine. Problem is I have to go out of game to click the button to start the countdown.My question is. View 5 RepliesI am very very new to VB.NET and would like to ask a simple question. I want to create a vb.net program and allow visitors to a website to download this program. However, I prefer not to have visitors download a zip folder. I would like to have a program that just gives a prompt to save in a selected folder, once the saved file is selected it prompts the person to download, and then when finished prompts the person to run the program. The reason is twofold:
1. I don't like the extra step involved with unzipping the file. and 2. I don't like the visitors having to look for the "main" file program within the new downloaded folder. So is there any way to have just one file for others to download without having it in a zip folder?
How can I make a program so you click a button and select a File using a OpenFileDialog and click send on your computer and it will send the file to a different computer and then a SaveFileDialog will show asking where to save the file on the other computer.
