Radio Button Inside Gridview With Paging - ASP.NET?

Here is the asp code for the design, I have a gridview that lists all Leave dates selected w/ 2 radio buttons . The user may choose if it is for whole day or halfday which are represented by a radio button. I want to get the value of each row if the user wants half day or whole day for me to calculate the leave days.
-I can already get the value but on the first 5 rows only since my gridview is paged with paging size of 5. how can i get the value for the other items if I have more than 5?

I have an asp.net gridview that is originally bound to a sqldatasource control, but when the user presses an external button, it instead gets the contents of a datatable rather than a SQLdatasource control. I therefore had to write code in the PageIndexChanging event of the gridview to allow for paging. My code is as follows:
Protected Sub gvEvents_PageIndexChanging(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Web.UI.WebControls.GridViewPageEventArgs) Handles gvEvents.PageIndexChanging
gvEvents.PageIndex = e.NewPageIndex
gvEvents.DataBind()
This worked beautifully until I added an AJAX update panel so the whole page wouldn't postback every time it paged, and paging stopped working. I debugged it and discovered that it is actually calling the PageIndexChanging event, but nothing is happening. I searched the web and found a few people with the same problem, but their solutions did not work for me. There was one on this site whose problem was solved by the following:
In PageIndexchanging event, where you bind data to grid, make sure, data is again fetched from the DB
I don't know what that means; my data was being bound as demonstrated above. I have "enable paging" set to true and EnableSortingAndPagingCallbacks set to false.

I'm trying to sort records in the gridview right after a radio button is selected. My approach is with the dataview, but because the dataset variable doesn't survive a round trip to the server, I don't know how to make this happen.[code]

I have a WinForms application (VS 2008, .NET 3.5) that has a form with two different group boxes, and inside of each group box are different sets of radio buttons. When I run the application, the first group box automatically has the first radio button in it already selected, and the second group box does not have a radio button selected by default.
I have looked through all the properties of the radio buttons and the group boxes, and cannot figure out what the difference is between the two.I would like both group boxes to have all radio buttons unselected when the form is first opened.Also, I looked through the Designer.vb file for the form, and could not find anything unusual going on in there either.

I've got a button inside a gridview to remove that item from the gridview (its datasource is a list). I've got the list being saved to session anytime a change is being made to it, and on page_load check if that session variable is empty, if not, then set that list to bind to the gridview.

I'm experiencing a problem when clicking on the page number within my ASP .NET gridview. When I click another page number, I am redirected to another unrelated page within my project.This wasn't a problem until I added jQuery to my masterpage, so I'm guessing there is some sort of conflict in the javascript code. When the aforementioned redirect happens, the page PageIndexChanging event isn't fired and there isn't a postback as far as I can tell. [code]

I have a simple query:

How I can add paging to this query for example 10 on a page I have tried to use the built in paging on the GridView but this just produces the error:

I'm really struggling to make the leap in understanding to get paging working for my gridview. I am creating a web part in vb.net so have programmatically created all the controls. I am using a standart .net 2.0 Gridview which uses an XMLDatasource to populate the Grid. The Data property of the XMLDatasource is set dynamically which allows the gridview to change based on input.All this works fine however I am having problems with paging.I have set the AllowPaging Property to "true" and set the PageSize Property to "10". The GridView populates fine the first time around showing the first 10 records and the number of pages as hyperlinks at the bottom, BUT when i try to click on any of the page numbers to view them a message box pops up saying "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"..[code]

I have a .aspx search screen that displays the results of the search in an asp:GridView component. There can be up to approx 1000 records returned by the search. I want to implememt paging on the grid so that only 15 records are displayed at any one time and the user can page through the results.
I am retrieving the records by passing search parameters to a WCF service which returns a List of particular entity objects. I create a Datatable and insert one DataRow per entity object from the List. I then bind the grid view to the Datatable.
This is how my grid is defined in the .aspx page:

I am a bit lost in concept how to implement what i want to do. I have a gridview, a checkboxlist. I bind the gridview on the page_load. Everytime user choose a checkboxlist, the gridview rebind as well. I have something like this now. This is not the actual code. Thanks so much.

i have problem that i know once someone answers, i will kick myself, but here goes. i need to move the text next to the radio button to the left of the radio button, that part is easy just make sure the the "right to left" is maked yes, got it. but, the problem is i am making a seating chart and the seats are labeled 10-a, 10-b etc.... when the right to left is set to yes my text reverses and becomes a-10 and i can't seem to figure out what is set in the properties the is causing the alpha to be placed before the numeric.

I have a simple questionnaire system which shows a random number of questions to the user out of a certain total in my database.I have 2 separate tables: Questions and Alternatives (which are the options to answer) related by QuestionID field in both tables. I rendered such questionnaire using Nested Repeaters (parentRepeater for questions and childRepeater for the options) and it shows correctly on the page.Each option is a radio button which I had to use it as a HTML instead of the Standard Server Control <asp:RadioButton> because of the Dynamic ID problem inside a repeater.[code]What I don't know is how do I get all the questions answered by the user given that I don't know the QuestionIDs and the Alternative IDs since it's randomly generated and using a HTML input tags?

In my project I would like to call an exe so that exe pop up will come with a Login Screen with 2 buttons Login and Cancel.In those 2 buttons, login button is focussed default. Now my application should invoke the Login button automatically. Means there won't be Pressing ENTER KEY or Mouse Button Etc. Just after the Login Screen, there is a 2nd Screen that has 5 different Radio buttons, the 1st Radio button is always the default. So I also want to click this radio button automatically without using the keyboard or the mouse. y intention is that, the application should do that automatically.
I have tried with getting the handle of the focused Button by GetFocus method and tried to send that handle to the application by SendMessage and PostMessage. But it's not working.So can any body give some suggestion regarding this?

I have a modal popup that contains a gridview. On the click of a button inside of a grid i reload the gridview with the data that depends on the id of the row clicked in the gridview. I would have like to reload the gridview onclientclick but I couldn't find a way to do that. Is it possible to reload a gridview client-side without the user even knowing the page partially loaded?

User will use a button1.click to open a filedialog to locate the file they needed. after which, the name of the file will appear on a textbox. Button2 is an OK button to write the filename into a txt file. Button2.click will work with the 3 radio buttons - meaning when Radio Button 1 is true and Button2.click is clicked, the filename will be saved asFile1.txt.if Radio Button 2 is true and Button2.click is clicked, the filename will be saved as File2.txt. I have a gridview that appears in a modal popup that is generated dynamically and is bound to a dynamically generated SqlDataSource. I did this to hopefully take advantage of the gridview's automatic editing capabilities. My problem is that when the edit button is clicked the modalpopup closes due to a full postback in spite of the fact that my gridview is in an update panel. I looked at solutions here and here but neither fixed the problem. I've also tried every combination under the sun regarding the positioning of the ModalPopupExtender in relation to the update panel etc, and have tried changing UpdateMode to conditional as well.
