I'm working on a new webbrowser program for a bunch of people, it's going to open a website in the webbrowser and fill in the text in textboxes inside the IDs of accountname and password.
When it is logged in it will be in a page called "Account managing"
Now on this page there will be some info. Info that I want to read via HTML and put in little listboxes or TextBoxes in my program.[coded]...
Essentially what I'm trying to do is read a particular line of text from an integrated web browser (webbrowser1) into a textbox. The user will enter an id number into a textbox which will automatically search the online database search that will be open in webbrowser1. What I then want to do is read the resulting html text into particular textboxes.

The issuse that I running into is that I cannot get my webbrowser1 to auto-click the "Gmail" button at the top left of the page or the "Show me my account" button on the righthand side of the webpage. I initially want this to be copied to the output directory so that it will be there when the programme is installed and i can then use the file path of the output directory to display the help file.
Can anyone advise how i would do this, and also if when the user installs the program, they decide to change the default output directory how i would i get my application to know where the helpfile will be?
I have a funtion that returns a generated PDF file but the problem is it shows it in the current browser window... I need for it to open in a new window. I dont see how I can pass it into a view for displaying where I could simply use target: _blank.

what I'm trying to do is setup my browser so that when I click an input field like a username, password, etc I would have a screen pop up where I can assign the "id" or "name" of the tag to a variable. usually with C#, though the controls I'm using for this project are VB. Usually I work with programming backend robust applications, but of course when I do a simple website for a friend is when I cant figure out the problem. I'm using a VB master page for the site. The "wood" div is supposed to be a background image that repeats dynamically as far down as the page goes, but for some reason it only goes as far as the browser window height. The background-repeat:repeat-y doesnt seem to do anything, so I feel like the problem has to do with the CSS. Here's the master page:

I know how to open local .msg files in webbrowser in html format.The problem is when the .msg has embedded pictures, the only thing that appears is a blank space ("picture not found") where it is supposed to be.If I open the .msg file in Outlook, I see the images correctly, but in my program I can't see embedded pictures.

Well i hate Web browser, sometimes I use this code to check if the document completed and it stops there for ever.

Sometimes it stops on that code and I don't know why!!!So is there any other method to read a text from a website, or if the code i am using is wrong, whats the right one ? I use this code to check if the document completed loading.
I'm new to visual basic & have learned many new things in such a short period of time from being on the MSDN forums. I have learned particularly in the subject of automating web browsing control using the getattributes etc., but I have tried everything that I have seen in the forums to auto click the "Settings" link in a created gmail account and then have the browser automate the "Forwarding" to another gmail address. I haven't found a solution anywhere to accomplish this.

When I click button 1 for the first time I recieve the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." but when I click it the second time it returns the elements text perfectly.
I thought the wb.document element might not be instantiated so I've tried navigating to a page (google's homepage) before loading the page I want put with no success.
I also thought that maybe it wasn't giving the page time to load so I added the sub to deal with the documentCompleted event but this also returns nothing (though wb.document.url is set correctly to the webpage I want)

I've search numerous hours, but I haven't been able to find the appropriate solution. What I want to do: Get the html of a certain webpage (Lets say in this case url...this html within my wpf application, so that you can see the content of the page you requested. Then I want to be able to trigger events on the html that has been loaded from the URL. Like I want you to be able to click on a certain node in the HTML and I want to be able to link this node to a certain value. Basically a crawler application that let's you request a page, see the page in a control and allows you to click in the loaded HTML and link values to predefined values you set. So basically I want to be able to get a webpage displayed within my application and be able to trigger events on the html (For example a click on the html which would need me to know on what node you clicked in the html, or for example be able to edit the html by clicking in it).
