Html - Returning A File In A New Browser Window Using Mvc 3 Razor?

I have a funtion that returns a generated PDF file but the problem is it shows it in the current browser window... I need for it to open in a new window. I dont see how I can pass it into a view for displaying where I could simply use target: _blank.

usually with C#, though the controls I'm using for this project are VB. Usually I work with programming backend robust applications, but of course when I do a simple website for a friend is when I cant figure out the problem. I'm using a VB master page for the site. The "wood" div is supposed to be a background image that repeats dynamically as far down as the page goes, but for some reason it only goes as far as the browser window height. The background-repeat:repeat-y doesnt seem to do anything, so I feel like the problem has to do with the CSS. Here's the master page:

I have this C# code in a Razor view:

I tried translating it to this:

I have a help file which is in html format and is displayed in a form containing a web browser. I initially want this to be copied to the output directory so that it will be there when the programme is installed and i can then use the file path of the output directory to display the help file.
Can anyone advise how i would do this, and also if when the user installs the program, they decide to change the default output directory how i would i get my application to know where the helpfile will be?

2. It's my understanding that this isn't a problem in IE7, but my company is on IE6 with no current plans to upgrade.
So I have some code running client-side via 3rd party software. It opens an IE window and shoots a request to a server-side ASP page like this[code]...
I've tried using Javascript to close the browser, but I can't reset the ContentType. I tried CloseMainWindow after I call the ASP page, but that threw all sorts of errors. I imagine I could use a timer but the process varies from a few seconds to five minutes.

I want to open a local html file in the user's default Web browser, and jump to an anchor within that file. In other words, I would like to have a result similar to clicking a link to localfile.html#my_anchor.
I've been using the System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(String) method to open html files, and this works fine. In the following example, I open a file named "info.html" in the "SomeInfo" subfolder of the folder containing the application:

On clicking button in asp.net web page on button click event html is generated from xml and xsl. This html is stored as string variable. I'm letting my users write their own HTML from my webpage. When they click the preview button, my code behind needs access to controls on the page (and so I understand I can't use a web method here). It builds the HTML and saves it as a file on the server. My question is: Once the file has been made, I want to automatically open the file in a new window for the user to see their handy work. I'm using vb.net, but happy to receive c# answers.

I am creating a webbrowser with Visual Basic, and I have finished everything but this: When I click on an external link, (I.E. On a photo, or on youtube) it opens up in a new IE window. Using MVC3 and Razor View engine, I created a VB.NET web application in VS 2010. This creates the default Account and Home Controller along with corresponding Action Views.Now if I open any vbhtml file I get the following error message in the Error List window.

I tried to use WinHTTP Request to retrieve a webpage (HTTPS website) in VB.Net and for some reason it was only returning the partial HTML, is there any length restriction on the number of characters it could take? If so, can I get the content after, say, 10000th character?

MVC 3, VB.NET. I have a form in my app that gets basic information from the user and then allows them to upload a resume. I am accomplishing this right now by using a redirect to a different form that's only purpose is to select the file for uploading and then submit it.. Sloppy in my opinion.. I have tried to do it from the same form but the file is being lost on submit.. While I am not certain of it I believe it is because I am not using the correct syntax in the form to handle the file.[code]

I added the reference to my project but if attempt to use it in the vbhtml file Visual studio underlines it with a blue squiggly and tells me it is inaccessible blah blah. I'm currently developing a little hobby project to display health information in a game on my G15 keyboard through VB.NET. When I use ReadProcessMemory via an API call, it keeps returning zero. The MSDN documentation referred me to use the Marshal.GetLastWin32Error() call to find out what is wrong and it returns 1400: INVALID WINDOW HANDLE.
I am now confused about whether the first argument of the function wants a window handle or a process id. Regardless, I have tried both with FindWindow and hardcoding the process id while the application is running (getting it from task manager). I have tried three different games, Urban Terror, Grand Theft Auto: SA and 3D pinball for windows, getting the memory addresses from an application called Cheat Engine; they all seem to fail. [Code]

AIQ is a VB.Net app deployed via ClickOnce. It is an intranet app; one can be sure MS Office 2003 and the interop 11 dlls are on the target machines.
Restrictions: MAPI is out. It mangles the HTML. Since it is a ClickOnce deployment, we can't register dlls (I think, correct me if I am wrong). Therefore CDO and COM is out (again, I may be wrong.... I would be happy to be proven so).

It checks if the webpage in the web browser control has crashed. The website crashes alot. I want to acomplish this by checking the text of the webpage for vital keywords such as "ERROR" or "Could not connect:" or "An error occured. Returning to the autowatch system in 60 seconds..." The code I have so far is below.

The page refreshes every 5 to 120 seconds. The timer gets activated 10 seconds into the program's launch. It refeshes the code above every 5 seconds(to minimize CPU usage). However, it crashes and gives the error "NullReferenceException was unhandled". This could be because the page keeps on refreshing or the page is php and has 2 iframes. How do I fix this?
