I'm trying to create a quiz system and I have 200 question stored in question table.I have two quizID which is 1 and 2. Each quizID have about 100 questions. I trying to randomly select 50 question from the 100 question.

I make a 2 questions and then 4 choices for each question..and the 4 choices is made up with radiobutton.. and 1 of the 4 choices is only the right answer..Computing of right answer in each question is the thing that I want to know, how to do..

I have used the "using" statement in both C# and VB. I agree with all the critics regarding nesting using statements (C# seems well done, VB not so much)
So with that in mind I was interested in improving my VB using statements by "using" more than one system resource within the same block:
Example:
Using objBitmap as New Bitmap(100,100)
Using objGraphics as Graphics = Graphics.From(objBitmap)
End Using

My gut tells me that if the resources are related/dependent then using more than one resource in a using statement is logical.
I have had several occasions recently to access a specific class several times over a relatively small time frame.So I've been storing the value of the class in Session and trying to access it on page load, if it's not available creating a new instance and storing that in session.
So instead of constantly replicating the same code for different classes on different pages I'm trying to create an extension method to do this for me.

I created a sql query to check if the mobile number is registered or not. If its registered, it will send the new pin code to the customer and if its not, the customer will get a message that "This number is not registered or you are not authorized to this"... something like that... Sending of new code is already working. I just dont know how to make it as conditional statement like PHP. how to create a conditional statement if the value of rows is zero or not.I want my output to something like... IF the value is zero, an sms message will be sent to the client that he is not registered ELSE an sms message will be sent containing his new autogeneration code. View 23 RepliesIn my first application I need to create a multi-level "IF" statement and I am a little lost on how to proceed. The idea is to do figure out an estimate on costs based on the quantity of products being sold. I can do this in Excel, but the VB code escapes me.
So I'll show you in psuedo code what I want to do.
IF comboBoxA = 1 and comboBoxB = 1 then
value X
IF comboBoxA = 2 and comboBoxB = 1 then
value X
If comboBoxA > 3 and comboBoxB > 1 then
(comboxBoxA * costA) + (comboBoxB * costB) = Value X
I have another IF statement that will work off the calculations here. Haven't figured this one out yet, but I haven't gotten there yet in my form.

I'm building up a SQL statement where the table name, column name and id value are retrieved from query string parameters i.e. ("SELECT [{0}] FROM [{1}] WHERE [Id] = {2};", c, t, id)
But it isn't as bad as it looks, I'm protected: Only authenticated users (i.e. signed in users) can execute the Page_Load I'm checking that both the table and the column exists beforehand (using GetSchema etc.)I'm checking that the Id is an integer beforehand All my tables have Id columns The database connection is reasonably secure
