Basically ive a picturebox which ive coded to move around the form, however I can move it off/under the form if i want to if i move it that far. I want it to stop on the edge of the four sides of the form if i move it that far. Basically I want to make sure that when moving the picturebox around, it never goes off the form and stops on the edge of the form if i move it that far.
I'm guessing it's to do with the position command but i cannot quite work it out.
1.I want the user to be able to select a Picture by clicking a button which will then open an OpenFileDialog (Opening the my Pictures Folder without the user having to navigate there.)
2.When selecting the picture and clicking on save the picture must automatically be moved and saved to a folder in My Documents called "My Recipes".
3.At that same time the picture must automatically be renamed using the Title and ID of the record being edited ending up with a name like "Nick's Milktart 237.png" (preferably with a space between "Milktart" and "237").
4. The last step to this process is that a link, URL or hyper link (I'm not sure what this is called) to this picture in the "My Recipes" folder must be created in a SQL database.
I now trying to create a replay button for my moving pictures. So that i can just click the replay button and replay the moving action instead of choosing which picture to move and click play.

My problem here is that what the loop does is click on another program, thus taking the focus off of mine, how would i be able to make my app see if I press the key even if the form isn't in focus?
I have an MDI Form that contains an MDI Child form. On this child form is a flexgrid. When the user double clicks on a row in the flexgrid this loads another MDI Child form. I have set the following properties on the second child form:
The problem is that if the first MDI child form is in a maximized state and the user double clicks on the flex grid, the second child form loads in a maximized state too! How can I stop this?

im trying to center some pictures 5 above and 5 below in the center of a form "Form1". Right now i can make them look centered in a smaller area, but when i maximize the screen the pictures are in the upper left. I tried changing some options with no luck and have been browsing some WWW posts but im not coming up with any understanbable.

I'm trying to load a group of pictures into my form so the user can click a button to view the next picture. I am trying to use List to gather the pictures.
When I debug, the List is always empty thus giving me an index error.

i have a form with a picture as background. On this picture I want to buttons or pictures (click areas where lamps are). I have made a transparant picturebox and when clicked he shows a small picture of a lamp indicating the light is on.The form should be full screen.The problem is: When the form is used on different monitors with different resolutio settings, or when the form is resized, the pictures are on another (wrong) part of the picture. that the pictureboxes stay on the correct position related t the background?
I do not use another big picturebox in the background while the transparacy will not work.

Im using a black n white image of a human as my back ground and panels to display the same bits in color when the area is clicked. What isn't working for me is the panels are slightly overlapped and one will always be on top of the other. it is transparent so you can see the back ground, but not the panel underneath it when it has a picture in it.
I am writing a little app to take over from Active Desktop as we are using Win7.
I am having problems getting my form to stay open, if the user hits the "Show Desktop" button the form minimises. I need this to stay open at all times in the back ground.
I have disbled the minimise button to stop the users using it.
how I can stop this from happening or if I use a timer to check the windows state it apears normal as it looks like the "Show Desktop" button does not actually minimise the window!
Im make a portable program which has a form with a few different pictures like a photo gallery.when you hover the mouse over a picture it will appear enlarged in a floating box infront of the form. Then when the the mouse is taken away from this floating box the box will disapear and leave you with the picture gallery again?

Taking the following code into the account: [code] This makes my entire form client area act like a cpation bar and i can darg it using any any part of it! Becuase i had a borderless form that is why i used this code (which is definitely not mine - no offense) . This works perfect in windows 7 but in lower OS versions it acts weired like even if user makes little dragging on the form occasionally this triggers and takes the form out of the bound of screen! I was wondering can i alter the above code somewhat like instead of intercepting the form area as caption bar it detects a panel (docked at the top giving illusion of a caption bar) and make that my form move. (Visual Basic .NET 2003) I am trying to move a picturebox up and then down on my form. The Picturebox moves up but does not move down. The motion is more of a bouncing motion (to the left) until it disappears off the screen. I have one button and one timer. I know this is probably so simple, but I cannot resolve the problem

The purpose of this (maybe there is a better method I don't know) is to so the user can say what order they want pieces of code to be compiled in. Sort of like a flow-chart. I want it somewhat animated, so, example being 3D circles the user drags and drops in the order they want things.
1. I need 4 circles inside of a form.
2. I need it so when the user selects the circle, they can drag and drop it in an order.
3. User clicks OK to finish their chosen order.
I haven't designed anything before that needed to check the borders of the form etc.
