I am attempting to write a simple sync tool service using the microsoft sync framework. I am able to synchronize two locations but I would like to be able to output the files that are being synced using log4net. Does anyone know how I can do this? here is the code I using:

I am creating a Visual Basic 2008 .net application that will be using the Sync Service for ADO.NET on Windows 7 Ultimate. The back end database is SQL 2008. Below are the basic steps I take when the error occurs
a. Add a Local Database Cache item to my application
b. Use the Configure Data Synchronication wizard for the setup process
c. Click the OK button to accept changes
d. An error message is generated, "The given key was not present in the dictionary".
I have attempted this several times and the error message presists no matter how I vary the options. I have also installed Microsoft Sync Framework 2.0 successfully but the error persists. I also have all the following Dlls referenced in my project:
Microsoft.Synchronization.dll,
Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.dll,
Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.Server.dll,
Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.SqlServer.dll,
Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.SqlServerCe.dll.
I am sure I don't need all of these references but I figured it does not hurt to have them all referenced for now. I have the latest OS service and Visual Studio 2008 service packs.
I'm fairly new to the MS Sync framework and have been beating my head against the wall for about four hours now to no avail. I'm simply trying to sync my databases (one "master" SQL Server 2008 with a SQL Server CE, the client) with:

It works just fine in Visual Studio 2010 and always manages to sync, but now that I'm trying to implement it on my client's computers, I always get the error:

I have written a code in VB.NET using "Microsoft Outlook 11.0 Object Library" to create an appointment, task or contact in Outlook. Now the problem is once i create an appointment, task or contact from my VB.NET code and then if i open these item in outlook and modifies and save the content (like body of an appointment) then the lastmodification time of these item doesn't gets modified. It always shows the previous lastmodification time. This happens only for those item which got created from my VB.NET code.

I am work on VB.net 2003 Framework 1.1 for last 3.5 years in windows Application.We are currently migrating to VB.net 2008 framework 3.5, but i don't know about the features which related to ADO.net and which is important to performance. I am using this code to get a list of files in a folder:

This works fine, but the problem is that it selects only files with the extension of "exe" & skips files that have an "EXE" extension. Is there any way to make it case-insensitive, to make it return any combination of upper/lower case letters in the extension?

I'm trying to figure out how to make the code from HTML url...I have in a listview with some pdf filenames..each of these pdf's have bookmarks to other pdf files.I managed to get the code to export the bookmarks and load them into the listview..but only the first listing seems to be working. when it gets to the second listing,, when it gets to the exportbookmarkstoxml function..it hits the catch from then on..i've tried several different things and none of them seem to be working..the code i have is somewhat messy because i been messin' with it,,but i'll try and tidy up as much as possible for ya.I'm thinking that something between the using statement needs to be closed or something but i can't get it to come even close..i even tried closing the reader with reader.close and then deleting the outputxml and then making the file again but that isn't working either.
