The question is, in the case of four connections, how can I make sure that all points are connected with minimum number of connections using the same above code?

I am extremly new to this concept of aps.net and vb. all the tutorials I see are c# based or very basic for vb. What I have is a contact forum with some basic information. I got the whole "check if the user has input information correctly down pat how ever Its this whole, connecting to a database (sdf) if in another vb file ands calling that method into aspx file and proessing forum input to say "take this, insert into bla..." I come from java, JSP and J2ee bak ground where its not that diffrent and I dont have all week to read books and take baby steps. I have until tuseday morning to finsih this. When I hardcode a username/password, I am able to update the AD, however when I try to force the object to use the logon credentials or if I don't specify the username/password, it throws an error. A object of class Bicycle is used by thread 1 and has a synclock on it.
Then thread 2 comes along and needs to know if the lights of the bike are working. But if there is a synclock active then thread 2 just forgets about checking the lights and goes to make a delicious chocolate pie.

In the Active Direcotry mmc snap-in you cant see attributes that are "Not Set". When you use ADSIEDIT.MSC tool, if attribute values are null you do see them as "Not Set".
