VS 2005 ContextMenu On MenuStrip

I'm actually trying to help another member over at CG with this problem, on this thread url...And I'm clueless as to what to try anymore.The thing is, we're trying to add a Context Menu on a Menustrip. If you were to right click on any menu on the System's Start menu, you'd see, that you can right click any menu item, and do whatever with it.I have sourced some code, and eventually got a sample worked out - the problem is, it only works with top level menus, not submenus.[code]If you were to run this code, you'd see that only right clicking Testing ( the top menu ) works. Can anyone see any reason why this doesn't work with Submenu items

Can a contextmenu be used in a .Net 2005 console application? If so, how do I create the necessary events. I know how to create the control but not sure about the needed events. I'm thinking the only one I really need is the "Click" event.

I have a shockwave on a form in my VB.NET application. Everything works great. Although, when a user right-clicks over the flash movie a flash context menu is displayed. How do I use the form contextmenu on flash??

I want to show the contextMenu on MenuItem right click....AS IE favorites.... I am able to show the contextMenu when I right click on menu. But the Probs is that when I right click..Context menu is showing & menu is hiding. I want that when we right click on menu. Menu is not hidden.

I have around 100 items in a menustrip like your favourites menu in internet explorer. Is it possible to scroll down using the mouse scroll wheel?Is it possible to automatically scroll when the mouse pointer is over the arrow at the bottom or top as opposed to having to click to scroll the menu?

I have been playing with the Windows API.A Windows application typically has a TitleBar (with a caption on it), underneath is a MenuStrip, under that a ToolStrip (with the tool icons on it), and under that the main application area.I want to be able to strip everything off, except for the main application area.I have found how to hide the TitleBar, using:
GetWindowLong (and passing to it the handle of the form, and GW_STYLE to get the current windows style)SetWindowLong (and passing to it the handle of the form, the InitialStyle, and ORing with it WS_DLGFRAME) how to remove the MenuStrip and ToolStrip to leave just the main application area?

I have a button on my form where I'm showing a ContextMenu when the user left clicks on it, I'm actually using MouseUp right now to show it.What I would like to have happen is the user click on the button, the button stays pressed while the ContextMenu shows, it returns to normal when the ContextMenu closes (Either a menu item was selected, the user hits the escape key or they click/tab to somewhere else). Also I'd like to position the ContextMenu in the lower left corner if the menu opens down or the top left corner if it opens up. So the left edge of the ContextMenu is flush with the left edge of the button.Moreso the button staying pressed until the ContextMenu is closed.
Edit: I'm also ok with this being it's own control inheriting the FW's Button that used the assigned ContextMenu as well.

I want a menu with just two dropdown lists, the menustrip puts a strip right across the form, is there any way to change the width of the strip? Changing in properties does not work. Is there a different type of menu I can use?

I have a webbrowser control which I have created a contextmenu for. I have added a paste button and do docbrowser.body.inner.body = clipboard.gettext. The problem with this is when I copy text from a word document and paste it I loose all the formatting. If I remove my context menu and use the default and paste I keep my formatting.

I have a ContextMenu attached to a tray notifyIcon and I already have it on the form in design mode. If I look at it in design mode I can see evereything that I have on the main pop-up context menu. What I am trying to do is add to one of those choices programatically. I have a combobox and I want to disable to contextmenu. I tryed button1.focus() when the right mouse button is pressed on the combo but it doesn't work (it makes the focus and then the menustrip appears), I also put a msgbox but that's not a solution.Maybe something when the form is loaded? or globally disable the right click ability....

I have a form with contextmenu where you can get the menu items on shockwave. I uses the menu items event to get the method of working when clicking them on shockwave by using right-mouse button. When I debug the project and when I clicked on testmenu item, nothing have happens.

I've done a lot of work to customize the template for ContextMenu in my app, and it worked great as a "right-click" popup window.To my enormous surprise, when I wanted to add the same ContextMenu to a button to work as a kind of "drop-down" menu, it reverted back to the default template. It is really, really, weird, considering it's the exact same control I'm using, and when I right-click the button the template is the one I customized, but when I left-click it(and open it with ContextMenu.IsOpen = True) it uses the default template? I'm pretty baffled right now, and hope that this isn't one of the (many) quirks with WPF that will require me to write hundreds of lines of XML code to fix something that shouldn't even be an issue in the first place.

i have this app im developing that has a list box and a ContextMenuStrip that when you right click on the listbox it opens the menu strip at the top of the menu there is a item called USER that changes to the value of the selected item in the list box but my issue is this when the user right clicks in a blank space it opens the menu with the user text empty and this is causing me problems my question is how do i close the menu or stop it from opening if the value is null

I'm wanting to add a menu to my project that is going to be dual controllable (touch screen and physical buttons). For when it is being used with only buttons, i need a way to 'scroll' through the items in a ContextMenu. I've tried using SendKeys to send up and down keys but this did nothing and i've also tried using 'GetNextItem' but this also did nothing.
