VS 2008 Ignore "Show Desktop"?
Jun 8, 2009I'm making an application that sort-of works like a desktop widget.My widget should stay visible when a user triggers "Show Desktop" (it's what happens when WinKey+D is pressed).

VS 2008 Update Table And Ignore The Missing Columns Using The Single Dataset?
Jul 5, 2011How can i do a workaround for this? I two databases(.sdf). Database A has table A1 Database B has table A2 Table A1 is an exact duplicate of A2 minus 3 columns My dataset(.xsd) is based off of tableA2 in Database B. I can fill all my tableadapters in Database A and all info in table A1 using the dataset. My problem lies when I do TableAdapter.Update() for Table A1(Since the dataset has the 3 missing fields) it tries to update table A1 with info that isn't there and I get an error. How can I update table A1 and ignore the 3 missing columns using the single dataset? Or is TableAdapter.Update() designed to Update the Database with all columns found in the dataset ?

Feb 24, 2010I am writing a little app to take over from Active Desktop as we are using Win7.
I am having problems getting my form to stay open, if the user hits the "Show Desktop" button the form minimises. I need this to stay open at all times in the back ground.
I have disbled the minimise button to stop the users using it.
how I can stop this from happening or if I use a timer to check the windows state it apears normal as it looks like the "Show Desktop" button does not actually minimise the window!

When switching to a new desktop it starts a new instance of my app in that desktop (works) and on the form load event it says process.start("explorer.exe") <- here is the problem. It only shows a window not the actually bar.Also this may be important it shows the window, but when I navigate to explorer.exe 'C:Windowsexplorer.exe' and open it there. The explorer bar does show up.
