VS 2008 Textbox Tabbing - Cannot Find A Difference In Properties Of Textboxes Compared To Rest

I have a program that someone else designed the form on and sent to me to populate the code. I am not sure what could have been done to cause this problem, hoping for a quick oversight on my part. There are several fields of textboxes that the user enters numbers in. Normal behavior for textboxes is when you tab to them the current contents are highlighted. On one of these textbox fields, and only that one set of textboxes, the contents are highlighted like normal at first, but after the user edits the content of the textbox, if you tab to it again it will go directly into edit mode instead of highlighting the contents. Each textbox in the field does this individually, so if you just edit one, all the rest will continue to highlight contents until you edit them as well. It appears you don't actually have to change the value of the textbox, just entering edit mode and getting a blinking cursor is enough. I cannot find a difference in the properties of these textboxes compared to the rest.

i want to create a html editor. to get started, i want the app to be able to find certain words, and change the font/color/size/etc. as for <a href=""><b> and so on, without changing the rest of the text after the selected text was modified. i'm sure that it has something to do with RichTextBox1_TextChanged for text that is being typed and just a button click for modifying selected text.

Have been playing around with user controls and had a go at enhancing the textbox. Everything I done works fine except now I can't seem to tab out of or into the control. I haven't changed anything except the borderstyle and coloring when the control gets the focus.

I am creating a sailing score points program and want to create something like: what TEXTBOX has got biggest number that is between (TEXTBOX IS BETWEEN NOT THE NUMBER) [ and ] And it's subtracts that number what is in that box from the textbox3 when possible then how to do like:
under textbox are four checkboxes Named: DNS, DNF, DSQ and OCS and they give so much points how many are the sailers + 1. The setting name is Sailers

I am making an sql search engine. I need it to find a row of data take some of the columns and paste it to some labels or textboxes.Need some help with the code got my connection, command, I am thinking on how to split the notes and the username onto two different controls or should I get two different sql statements for them ?

I am not sure if I should put in a Text Box or not but this is how I thought it might have to go. Textbox1 shows the start time of a procedure and textbox2 shows the endtime of the same procedure. I would like it if the textboxes were in a 12 hour clock showing an am/pm tag on the textbox's. Then in Textbox3 it would show the differance between Textbox1 and Textbox2 in Hours and Minutes.

I've been using the System.Net namespace ever since we switched from .net Framework 1.1 to the 3.5 framework, but there's one thing that's been puzzling me since. What's the difference between the Sender and the From properties in the MailMessage class?Are they both the same, and if not is there a reason to use Sender together with From?
For example:

I have two viewmodels (each with their own models):
AmendmentViewModel
YearViewModel
each have a property:
AmendmentViewModel.TotalAmended
YearViewModel.TotalCommitted
On the view there is a TabControl and each of the viewmodels is the datacontext for a tabcontrol page. Yes i know I could technically use one view model but its a LOT of code and a large view that Has to be in a tabcontrol. How do i set the binding of a TextBox to the sum of AmendmentViewModel.TotalAmended & YearViewModel.TotalCommitted ?

Im having odd problems with how my form is displaying at runtime...if you look at the 2 attachments you can see at runtime the labels disappear under the check box's, but at design time they are positioned perfectly.

In order to have a description for a property of a custom control to be shown in the Property Grid and also in the Object Browser, should I use a Description Attribute and also a Comment? This appears to be redundant, is there a way that the Object Browser displays the Property Description?

is there a way to make a textbox searchable like those Ctrl + F which can be found in most of the windows application?
I have googled and found some functions which is quite similar, but I have an issue which for eg.
My multiline textbox contains a lot of text with scrollbar, somehow the text I want to find is in the middle, when I click the find button, the word is indeed found and highlight, but the scrollbar still remain on top.
I wonder how can I make the find adjust the scrollbar as well?

On my form, i've got some textboxes and some richtextboxes. I'm using the following code, to search through the text properties of each of the two types of control. see below:-

What i'd like to do is isolate the textboxes only, is there a way to do that? I tried this but i got an error:-

(Using VB 2008 express). I'm fairly new to vb and I can't find any information on this anywhere. I have an app that clicks a download button on a web page from a web browser control. This works so far, a download box comes up asking whether I want to save or open the file. I want to be able to select the "Save" button and then chose a name and then click enter. Is there a simple way to tab over to the save button and click enter?

I have a form that has a tabcontrol (TabControl1) and within that tab control is another one (TabControl2). I have textboxes on the main form as well as in each of the tabcontrols.
In my savebutton event I have the following code:

What happens is that it records those textboxes that have changed and writes it to addendum.text. The problem is that it is only capturing those textboxes on my main form and none of the textboxes that get changed within TabControl1 or TabControl2.
