VS 2008 Create GET With Original Header From Browser
May 10, 2010
I am trying to make a GET request to a .php page. To get to this page I have to pass before to a login page (username and password then). My application has a browser from where I manually login and then with one button I want to do this GET request but not from the browser. I need to create a GET request using the cookie and Session ID from the browser in my app.I think I need to create this GET with the original header from the browser but I am new to vb and I am trying to figure out how:
1. create a simple GET request
2. add cookie, session ID, headers to the GET request
3. get the page source (I already use the browser.document but I'd like to retrieve it from the get request).
how do I create a label that when clicked by the user, it will open a website using the default browser. I have seen the control LinkLabel but I do not know how it works or how to use it.
I am wanting to create a large amount of files all copied from a single original file. I then have a list of names in a listbox that each of of these files will rename to. However I am getting an error saying that the file already exists in the save location even though the files are saving to a totally different folder...
code below.
Dim Counter As Integer = listFileNames.Items.Count Do Until Counter = 0 System.IO.File.Move(txtOpen.Text, txtSave.Text)
Here is what I am doing. I create two buttons in a header row of a gridview that i created. The buttons are +page and -page. When -page is hit I remove the paging and all the data goes down the page and -page disappears and +page is there.
Here comes my issue When I hit +page I must be double postbacking because one row of my data disappears. I will provide the code below. What can i do to fix this??
[Code]...
So as you can see, when one or the other is hit I set a textbox to some value then i do a partial postback to my Gridview which is in that Updatepanel.
I'm wondering how I can go about creating something like a header file to contain some verbose functions I don't want to have to look at after I get them created. Something like in c++ like.. #include "classfunctions.h" to hide all the nasty stuff you don't want anyone to see.
I am new ASP.net/Vb.net. I want to create a master page with my company's logo and want to include that page in every other page. And I want to have an header in master page which should look something like .
Orders Notice Other logout -Add/Edit - view -Search
I am creating an application using VB 2005. I am using richtextbox control to get some text and do some text formating like bold, italics and font like stuff.

I would like for my program to navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines and multiple url links inside of it. I know how to make the webbrowser1.navigate via textbox1.text with multiple lines, however I want my webbrowser to navigate to each url every 1-1.5 seconds once button1 is clicked. Yes, my webbrowser1 will navigate to the specified urls via the textbox1.text (multilines) with a button click, but I need the webbrowser1 to navigate in a order sequence from top to bottom of Textbox1.text (multiplelines) every 1 second. Here is the current code that I have to navigate via multilined textbox1.text control in order sequence:
I've just finished making a web browser suited for my personal use, but when I click on a new link or something it opens a new window in Internet Explorer - which gets extremely anoying.. Is there a way to make all links open up in a custom browser?
I have settings called set1 and what I want this to do is when I open up a form and I then click close is doesn't show it anymore it shows the original one.
I've got two programs, one is the main and the other is the updater. So far iv'e got it so that the main program checks for an update by comparing its version number with the latest one that's stored as a text file on the server. If there's a newer one, the update program is started and the main one closed. The update program will then use a web browser component to navigate to the download link and download the new version. The only problem I'm having at the moment is, How can I get the new downloaded version to replace the current one in Program Files? and will this cause permission problems?
I'm using the following code to populate a DataGridView with a worksheet. This is working fine, however, I'm unsure how I can get the Text from the page header. (not to be confused with the column header). Later in my code when I am exporting into an existing workbook with a new worksheet, I'm wanting to use the header text as the tab name. The header text being "September 2009" so that when I import/manipulate/export october, the new tab will be "October 2009" etc. [Code]
This might seem like an odd question, but is there a way to make it so that any form that is created based on another, would have some comments in the code behind of the new form?
For example, i create a form called frmONE, and i put in code like this:
Overridable Sub frmONE_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load 'Make sure you call these functions, in this order:
If I use a LINQ query over some type of collection, is there any way to know the initial index of an element of the result?
Purpose: I make a query to set as source of a DataGridView, and on a (button)cellclick event I want to a call a method that needs to reference the collection at the correct index.
Public objword As New Word.Application objword.Documents.Open(FileName:=ofilename)
^ Showing the declaration of the word document that i wish to edit.
Dim oDoc As Word.Document objword.Visible = True oDoc = objword.ActiveDocument oDoc.Range.Text = codes(j, 1) & " " & codes(j, 2)
This gets the document and adds text into it, exactly what i want it to do. But it replaces the whole document. I just want it to add text at the start of the document. Not replace the whole document.
in my application i created table called houseloading which has field called housename.which is inserted into the sqlserver database. my table will look like this
///column name house values red green
what i want now is i want to display the values red green as column header in datagridview
How do I revert a form including the controls back to a original state without closing the app? For example I got a picture box and 2 buttons in a form..
I've been reviewing some tutorials but can't seem to find the answer(s) I'm looking for.
I have a "Browse" button and I need it to open up a file browser. The trick is this: When the user finds the file and "opens" it, I want ALL the forms in my project to "remember" the filepath and filename of the file they chose.
Do I do this by storing the filepath/filename into a Public String variable and the other forms can access/refer to the main form's String?
I am a beginer and I am trying to create a simple web browser using Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition.
Public Class Form2 Private Sub Button3_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs)
[Code].....
As you can see from the above code I do not have forward, back and stop buttons. Thats because I do not need them. The browser will be configured to go to a certain website directly.
What I need is this browser should be configured to use specific JRE. That is the browser should use ONLY JRE 1.3.1 or ONLY JRE 1.4.2
I am trying to create a Web Browser with tabs. Here is my code so far:
Public Class Form1 Private Sub NewTabToolStripMenuItem_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles NewTabToolStripMenuItem.Click

I was just wondering how I could send commands to a tabbed browser. Such as navigation. I know of webbrowser1.navigate, but that will not work with the tabbed browser. I would also like to use an commands to automatically login. But I am not sure how I could do that in a tabbed browser either. Webbrowser1.document.getelementbyid does not work for this.
