I'm trying to do is create a RTB where users will be able to enter text and add a Button to the RTB where the user can click the button to change the text of the button, have the ability to delete the button, and keep the button inline with the text.
So for an example:
Blah, Blah, Blah the answer is [AIRPLANE] and the color is [BLUE].
So the user would type text, insert the button where they want it and be able to click the button to change the answer.
I have a piece of software with two tabs, inside each tab there are buttons (the user can add the buttons when they want). when tab1 is full tab2 should start to fill. I currently know how many buttons fit on the screen so I just say something like if buttons > 150 then start to populate tab 2 The problem i have now though is if the resolution is changed then a different amount of buttons can be displayed. so if I put my screen to 1280x720 some buttons are left of. I was thinking of detecting the resolution and then using different cases for different resolutions but this seems very inefficient im wondering if there is a different way?
I have 2 projects where I have to assign certain items to buttons, and I am getting the following error message: Error1'videotype1' is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level.C:UserschrisAppDataLocalTemporary Projectsvideo bonanza 1chris's video store.vb49video bonanza 1
Here is the Private Sub Button1_Click(sender As System.Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click videotype1.text = "aisle 1" End Sub
Not as easy as it sounds, I've been doing alot of research on this and I just about decided I can't find the answer, The Goal:I want to be able add a single image to a form from a selection of images with the click of a button, this would probably work much better with java but I know nothing about java so I am using vb
Progress:So far I have decided to just try and find way to change the buttons background image to display the image I want, so I set up lots of buttons in a form with the text "+" which simply means add a photo. Now I binded the buttons to a context strip with text saying what image I can change the buttons backgroundimage to.Questions:I need to know how to make the buttons background image change from the click of one of the options on the context strip. Is this even possible?
I loop through all of the buttons in a panel. If the button's name is not the name of the btnFunction, then I need to add that control to a list. But it adds the function button either way.
For Each c As Control In Me.pnKybdNormal.Controls If TypeOf c Is Button Then If Not CType(c, Button).Name = btnFunction.Name Then
I want to do as in the picture. Let the active cell in the window when I press the F10 key and then choose to come active cell. There are other window, the grid
I noticed that when some of my buttons are clicked, this ugly black rectangle appears in it, around the central text. It only happens to the buttons with a "Flat" style applied to them.
I loaded up VS 2010 to work on a VB.NET project but for some reason the Run/Pause/Stop buttons are missing from the toolbar and I cannot set breakpoints. Only changes from yesterday to my system was this morning Windows was trying to install Visual Studio SP1 updates but all failed.
I have several windows open: VB, IE, Explorer... If I happen to close one accidentally, or on purpose, and reopen it, the buttons on the task bar are all messed up. I get used to them one way and I am constantly switching between the windows. Here is my question: Would I be able, in VB, to 'hook' the taskbar and be able to rearrange the buttons?I have no idea what to search for in Google. I happened upon a program once a while back, A REAL LIFE SAVER!. I could just click and drag the buttons using that one.
All of the sudden none of the pre programmed buttons on my form work anymore. The only buttons that do work are those i create in runtime.
I allready replaced all my buttons with new buttons.Beacuse i thought maby i've changed something in their settings. I've put breakers on the Private Button_click subs to see if anything happens. Nothing absolutly nothing happens if i click my pre programmed buttons.
Update: Well i figured out what was wrong. VS2010 had removed all the "handles button.click" behind the subs. And it won't create them when i dubble click a button i program time.
How do I disable buttons while there are less than 2 items in a listbox? I can't figure out how to do it. I'm a newbie in Visual Basic(programming at all)
I know how to grab all the links of a page, and I tried using that same principle to grab the buttons, but I'm not exactly sure how to click one based on a certain parameter.
Here's what I'm trying to do. When the page completes (this code is obviously under Document_Completed), the program should grab all of the buttons on a page and go through each of them, and if any of them have a value of "value1", the program should click that button. This should be done with a for loop.. but like I said, I'm not sure how to accomplish this.
Visual Basic 2008/2010 - How do I automatically click buttons in a sequence?I have about 15 buttons that automatically goto a website, then it clicks on certain links and does save as page. They are working beautifully, now i have to automate this process. already have a code in place to wait for the website to finish with each button so i am not sure if i can still use a timer to complete this process?
I have a static HTML page, where im looking for a button that has a title of "Search" but i dont see an option to get the title of the current element during my loop
Dim theDivElementCollection2 As HtmlElementCollection = WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementsByTagName("button") For Each curElement2 As HtmlElement In theDivElementCollection2
I am adding a series of RadioButtons to a GroupBox programatically. By default they are all placed on top of each other. So I use a bit of math to position them all nicely and then resize the GroupBox.
However I notice that the GroupBox has an AutoSize property, but it doesn't seem to be resizing as controls are added.
Is there a better way to position my radio buttons than to specify each one programatically? I mean, can't this stuff be handled automatically by the framework?
how do I assign my radio buttons and labels as a variable? I am doing a quiz project and i want my labels to be different each time with different answers to choose from. All of my questions and answers are on Access. I need to display them on my radio buttons and labels.
What I would like to do is to have four different buttons (e.g., buttonA, buttonB, buttonC and button D). I wanna give the following instruction to the people: press these buttons in the following order: first buttonA, then buttonB, then buttonC and last buttonD. If they obey this instruction then a picture will be displayed, for instance a happy face. All the other combinations will not activate this picture to be displayed, or in other words, there won't be any consequence. I would also like to save this data using windows note pad e.g., writeline (1, xxxxxx). Is there any chance I will make it?
The app I am trying to make needs a few info in the beggining, these questions include a radio button I have four radio buttons in the same frame and I want to change the grouping so there are two questions being answered
Wondering if there is a way I can duplicate controls and have them work properly? basically, i have a datagridview with code in it plus buttons that do various things to it etc etc. ideally, i'd like to be able to have two of these datagridviews on show. So, user presses button, second datagridview shows. Note that I don't want them to both display the same data - they should both be independetly editable..
If anyone has ever worked in the food industry, you are familiar with the P.O.S. system that you place orders into. If a company adds a new menu Item, they don't have to rehire the programmer to code in the button, there is a script in place that will allow them to add their own buttons.
I'm doing a maze using VB10. its about moving a PictureBox between LineShape lines using buttons to move it. the problem is, can I make the picture not to move through the LineShape? if so how? or should I use something else other than the LineShape and another question can i save the progress of the maze and come back to it later? if so does it require using a database to save the location of the PictureBox?
I'm using a dialog form with two buttons and two Radio buttons.I'm oppening this Dialog when a button is clicked on the parent form.My situattion is when the Dialog opens the code in the button event continues to execute, but I only want it to continue to execute only after a button from the dialog form have been clicked
Private Sub btnSave_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btnSave.Click If multipleEXT = 2 Then Extension.Show()
i need to get some buttons to interact with other buttons on screen when i click then, as each indivual button gives a slightly different result.imagine this:[code]....
then i need then to hide different buttons depending on which button was pressed. so say i pressed button 1 then all the buttons showed but alternativly if i had of pressed 2 then say button 5 and 6 disapear.managed to get one way to work but then i would only ever end up with the first results every time.
My VB application is behaving strangley. I have form with fairly large number of controls. I am using case against radio buttons. after curtain number of buttons, it stops responding to more radio buttons.
Then I tried to split controls in to 2 form but now my form.showdialog() too now working properly. It takes new from names but show the old form when running.
