I have a listbox on my form which gets items added as the program progresses, when there are more items than the box can display, the vertical scrollbar appears, fine... so far so good.I would like the scrollbar default position to be at the bottom of it's column so that the last entered item is displayed but can't find the relevant command, I assume there is such a command.

The whole point is to use the "<" & ">" buttons to move the cursor left and right. When you do, it highlights a single character as it moves. Then, once you select a color button, it adds a special character BEFORE the highlighter character.
Ex: Help = He^6lp ^6 being one of the colors.

I'm making a quiz and I've got a set of questions and answers being loading into two different arrays, the idea is to answer a question with a choice of 4 buttons, so on a button click the answers checks to see if it is correct and moves along to the next question (while doing this the questions and answers change)However, my problem is that i've set up an audio player as the questions are for example "what is the sound?" and there is a preview button which uses the audio player to play the sound for the user.
Now everything moves with the array however, the sound still remains the same on every question after the quesiotn has been answered. So my set of answers move (when debugging, the sound array does move but the player doesn't seem to want to) with the array and i need the player to change to the specific array position which it is in as well.

I am using VB.NET and I am currently having a problem accurately reading the mouse position. In my code, whenever the user moves the mouse, I want to have two variables store the mouse position's X and Y value, however when I move the mouse over an object such as a picturebox or a label, it will no longer give me the value until I move the pointer off the object onto the form. Are there any methods that will give me the absolute mouse coordinates regardless of whether the mouse is over an object or not?

The program will then read each cell in that row, pass them through a function and return values be placed into the next line (1). This will continue until one of the parameters reaches some set point. The problem that I am having is that when I try to insert a new line, it appears above the initial one and not below it like I would like it to.

Trying to write a very simple game moving PictureBox2 around with keys and when it passes over another object such as PictureBox1 the score is incremented and then PictureBox1 is disabled/removed. Problem is that it disappears but every time you pass over that area it still increments the score further as if the object was there still.
Here is current code, but have also tried hide, dispose and Controls.remove with no luck.

Right now I have a program in which I'm trying to read the mouse cursor position relative to the window form, but I am currently having a problem. It only works if the mouse is directly over the form, and it will not work if I hold the mouse over an object, such as a label, a command button, or a picturebox. I tried resolving this by adding handle clauses for mousemove over those objects, however, while it works for the label, it doesn't work for the pictureboxes. This is because the pictureboxes are in an array and are defined at runtime.How would I go about resolving this?

Problem:I am not getting the cursor (4 arrowheads) for moving the form.I am using the Panel1_MouseHover to display the cursor. Right now if I choose any other cursor then it is working but the same cursor also displays when I hover the mouse over any other control. I want the cursor to show only in the areas of the Panel where there are no controls.How do I show Tooltips for the images? I am finally making the move to vb.net after having supported VB6 apps all this time. I have been learning vb.net 2010 but am finding it difficult to find relevant information on the COM aspect. In VB6 COM was the dominating feature of the language, however, I can't seem to find relevant information on what has happened to COM in vb.net, does it still exist in vb.net, does it work in the same way or are apps designed in a different way in .net to do away with COM dll's?
