VS 2010 Loading A Sequence Of Images From A Selected Folder Into A Picturebox Control

i have a simple photo viewer application where i want the user to click a "load sequence" button and then i want something like a folderbroswerdialog to appear then the user can pick a folder with images in it then the images get loaded into the picturebox and the user can click a "forward" button to go to the next image in the sequence and a "backward" button to go to the previous image in the sequence, it's kinda like windows 7 photo viewer.

I have a 4 pictureboxes for a database I made but having a problem with loading images in to the picturebox. On my form I have a picturebox, 1 button, 1 textbox, and 1 openfiledialog.
My button click event code

I can add pics but if I don't select any image (just close the dialogbox) I get an error and not sure what to do ..or what to add. Is there any code to tell it to just close..

I would like to have a series of images displayed sequentially in a picturebox (every 10th of a second). I captured the images (image0, image1, etc) and placed them in a temp folder every 10th of a second.

when my program starts it opens a folder browser i want the use to browse to the theme folder then the program to load the pictures from the selected folder but when i go to the folder nothing happens and i can find anything on loading picture from the selected folder.

I have a pictureBox on my form along with two buttons (Back and Forward) but I can not find a viable method of doing what I wish to do: Scrolling through images in a folder like the default Windows Picture Viewer does with Arrow Keys.Is there an efficient way to do this?
I'm using Visual Basic .NET with Visual Studio 2010, if that matters.

I have a program that will get a hash of the image but the problem is that I have to do to manually.I have a set of images of a folder names images(C:/images/) and ill be choosing which of those images i want to upload to my database.So far I got my program to work with database and such, wat I need is, if its possible I but the folder path on OpenFileDialog and I was a image to show in Picturebox1, then if I press button1 it will go to next picture.

I'm filling a FlowLayoutPanel with an array picturebox that depends of the number of files in a selected folder. The problem is that images appear stretched, and I want to keep the aspect ratio. Resizeimage is the resizing rutine and works fine. The clicked image wil be shown in a picturebox with a new sise (bigger).

i know this is probally a really simple question but i have looked through my book and all my notes and googeled and couldn't find a answer that suites my needs.baisicly i have a combobox that gets loaded on form_load, what i want to do is load the appropriate picture into a picturebox when someone selects a item from the combobox. what i cant figure out is how to get the picture into the combobox using code. all the images are saved in my debug folder for the program. picturebox.image = picture.png this is what i asumed it would be but have tried with parenthises, quotes and both and it dosent work.

by default this is working when the form load but when i change the data in the txtProjID which is representing the name of the folder where the images to be view in the picturebox... it's change but still the images in the previous folder is displaying, the new images did not appear..here is he codes..

I'm trying to load this image file on a PictureBox but I get an "OutOfMemoryException was unhandled" error.
How do I allocate more memory for this? Or maybe use another container? My project's main feature is loading maps, unfortunately my boss wants to load the whole map and won't accept sliced version of the map.

The idea is to scan a folder of images and then let the user navigate back and forth through the images using a couple of buttons.The problem is, I can only get it to return a single image, and not the whole lot. My app has scrolling images in the background and a picturebox on top. The image in the picturebox has transparent parts. How can It so that the transparent parts show whatever is belo the picture box, not the form background? I have tried taking screenshots and positioning them as background but this just freezes the app.

I have placed several PictureBox Images of different colored dots(which represent lights) on an image of a Christmas Tree. I can make the lights randomly flash using a randomGenerator and a Select case statement. However, the code is very long. There are 67 lights on this tree and the code is 71 pages long. There has to be an easier way to do this. So far I have tried the following with two images of lights just to see if it would work and it does not work:
