When Select Fruit Form The Combo Box It Will Search The Price But Can't Seem To Multiply It

My problem is, the data that I pull from the database, when try to multiply it, it didn't multiply.
The database has Fruit and FruitPrice column. When select fruit form the combo box, it will search the price. But I can't seem to multiply it. The price is display at PriceTextBox but when multiply it, it shows 0 in the TotalTextBox. It is a simple problem but I've tried everything I know but it still didn't multiply.

The program is for calculating an amount of fruit. I have a label saying the name of the fruit, a textbox to enter a value of 0-99 and another textbox with ReadOnly which will show the price.

As you can see, the Fruit1 Etc... Is only the fruit name.
The Text box wich indicate 1-99 means the number of fruit.
The Textbox with Cash on it, means the total price.
The Calculate button, when I will push it, all the total price from all the fruit will be added together to form a total price which will be indicated in the total price textbox under the Calculate button.
When I will enter the number of fruit, if I enter 99, it give me a price.
When I will enter 60, I want that the 60 are multiplied by (let say) 0,10$
I just like to know how I can do this... Its really bothering e and I don't want to calculate all the things and make 99 line for 1 fruit cause it will be long.

I have a form as follows "Price changer" The user is allowed to select a product and enter price . So when the change price button is clicked...the price is stored in a array which is later called
So what i am stuck is when the user selects a product from the drop down menu...the user can enter price . But i need to display a error message when the user enters text instead of numbers for prices. I tried try parse method but it displayed the error message but did not transfer the entered price to the array.

I am struggling to write the code for a calculation. The calculation I wish to do is to multiply the quantity of an item by the price. The problem is that the "form" i am creating uses a letter (i.e A, B, C etc) which corresponds to a set value. I do not know how to link the Letter to the corresponding value.
For Example, A= 25, B= 20, C=25
I want to calculate the total of 6 lots of A. I am also using a Combo Box to list the Letters.

As some of you probably already know I'm currently creating a ticket ordering system. I'm having some slight trouble getting one of the key elements of the application to work mainly because I'm not sure where to start with it.
I currently have a form with two combo boxes (one for the origin of the journey and one for the destination). The idea is that the customer tells the employee over the phone where their journey begins and ends. They will also select a date of travel - but the date of travel doesn't really matter to much at this time.
Once a to and from is selecting from each combo box, the price will be shown in a label on the same form.
I have the to, from and prices information in an Access database table and my database is already linked to my application using a data connection.

I still want to be able to show my code in front of the class/receive feedback. I originally had a program that would calculate the number of calories in your alcoholic beverage.Because I was new at it, I only had one of my beverages listed. I now want to create a combobox/ dropdown menu so that the user can select a standard alcoholic beverage (I have 6 to choose from). All the beverages have different average calorie counts. Once the user selects their beverage from the menu, they can type in the number of servings they consumed (standard size). They would then push a calculate button and would receive their total calorie count. I have everything up and working but everytime I enter a random number of servings and push calculate, it only multiplies by "100" which is the average calorie count for a serving of Light Beer-- the first listed.[code]
I just added the If/Then/Elseif stuff a couple of minutes ago, hoping it would work, but it doesn't. I know this is something simple but like I said, I'm brand new but I have searched everywhere trying to figure this out. I've watch 9 tutorials so far but they all don't really pinpoint what I want my program to do.

i am developing a simple vb.net application. i have three forms in my app. the first form has 2 radio buttons from which i need to select one. based on the selection made in my next form a combobox ll be populated.so far so good.there is a back button on my 2nd form which when clicked redirects me to the first form. here when i select the next radio button the combo box in the next form does not populate accordingly. it still holds the old values. \[code]

I am new to vb and I am having so much trouble with this. What I need to do is this: I have a form application for winter sports equipment rental.I have a listbox filled with the equipment for the user to choose from then I have a combobox for the user to select the duration they would like to rent it. The book that I am using has no examples I can refrence and i have had no luck online either. I am posting what I have so far. However, i think I am going in the wrong direction. I have been working on this for so long that I think I have over thought it and made a mess of it. I am thinking that I need to add a new class for rentalRates then use enum of durationType and equipmentType but I am unsure how to move that way. How someone would select an item from a list box and click a button and have that item go into another listbox with it's price? I seem to be stuck on this part.

I'm a bit of a noob at this and finding that all my research that's led me to wanting to do things right for data integrity are making it a bit more complicated on the front end.
Presently I have a Form in which I have two DataGridViews that I'm populating, each with it's respective stored procedure.
What the form is for is for linking rows from the one DataGridView (I'll call it DGV1) to a different one in the other DataGridView (DGV2).
Now to facilitate the ease of doing this for the user I want to both have the dgvs fully populated so that if the user wants they can just slide on through and manually select the rows in each they want and then there'll be a button to select which I'm planning to then use another stored procedure to then insert this connection between these two items into the database.
Another thing to facilitate this is a search bar. I want them to be able to type in something and have the datagridviews both navigate to where their selection is as well as selecting it so that it's then ready to be bound to the selection in the other.
What I'm wanting to know, and having a hard time figuring out, is how do you get such a search function to work on DataGridViews that I have bound to these read only stored procedures? How do I search and select within the DataGridView? And then how would I go about using the selection from two different datagridviews and putting those as parameters in the stored procedure that I wanted to use to then record the relationship in the database?

I have to create a form that I enter the price of gas each month over a year. I enter the price in a text box and click the enter button to send the price to a list box immediatley and use an array. I have the following code but I don't think it's working with the array correctly as it will let me enter the information but doesn't stop letting me enter after the 12 prices. I am really having a hard time trying to figure out how to set up this input for an array and make it all work.

I have two tables that can't be changed. One contains Stock codes / country codes, the other has country code / description for each code. I have a combobox with all the country descriptions that can be added to the stock code table. my problems is i can't figure out how to get the selected Country description to get the right country code and add that too the Stock code table.

I am using visual basic in VS 2008 and trying to learn how to assign a value to a word in a combo box using case select, this is my first attempt at programing and i just can't work out what to do next. So far i have two combo boxes a label and a button, i want the word, first to = 11, second = 9, third =7, fourth = 5. All it is doing at the moment is adding the list index value and displaying that total in the label. I want it to display for eg: if (first=11) and (second=9) are selected a total of 20 in the label,and so on for what ever combination is selected.

I am a noob and I am trying to make a simple resistance calculator for practice. I use text boxes to let the user input the current and voltage, and then a combo box for the units and then a list box to display the results. For some reason no matter which units I select it doesn't convert at all. For example 1/2 will always show up as 0.5 in the list box no matter which units are selected from the combo box. I'm setting up a program where I would like the user to be able to select a state from a combo box. I can not figure out how to allow to select the abbreviation from the drop down list and also allow them to type a letter and it will select the state from the state or just allow them to type the full abbreviation that would match what is already in the list. It is supposed to be in the drop down list style. I would also like to confirm that the user has chosen a state before allowing them to click a submit button but I'm not sure how to go about confirming it.
